David Brooks: Less Educated Will Vote For Trump, "Go With Their Gene Pool"
RealClearPolitics ^ | November 5, 2016 | RealClearPolitics

Brooks said the less educated and non-college educated whites are going to vote for Donald Trump no matter what. He added, "people are just going with their gene pool."

"Basically, less educated or high school-educated whites are going to Trump," Brooks told host Judy Woodruff. "It doesn't matter what the guy does. And college-educated going to Clinton."

I remember some of my first "debates" in college, usually with dates, since the other "women" back in the dark ages usually knew nothing about politics, but I had learned of politics from the cradle due to my parents. I remember one conversation in particular where a guy just tried to say everyone thinks right wingers are deluded, and nobody really believes all that idealistic stuff. He wasn't getting anywhere with me with that, so then he got personal: eventually I would just sell out, take the money and shut up. At that I just spoke from my heart: "No, I would never do that. What if some day I want to run for office? I'm keeping my nose clean."

At this point he just rolled his eyes and shrugged and said, "Humph. Respectability. It's no use arguing with you. You've got respectability." He never wanted to date me again, but that was one of the greatest compliments I ever received from a man during college.

The dumb cluck.

I guess a degree in Electrical Engineering doesn’t count.
. . . nor one in mechanical engineering either. Certainly not an engineering degree attained when only 10% of the population ever entered any college at all.

Now if we had degrees from a teacher’s college - requiring us to be in the bottom third of college incoming freshmen - that woulda given us an education.

We could have really, really been educated if we had been raised without fathers and had dropped out of high school.

Education, Intelligence , Wisdom, are three different things. When he says higher educated people will/should vote a certain way, that’s group think; neither intelligent, nor wise.

All the people we thought were the "good guys" have been metaphorically shtuping us the whole time...

I never thought people like David Brooks, Steve Schmidt, Nicolle Wallace, Bill Kristol, etc... were good guys. They have always been outright frauds (like Brooks) or saboteurs and quislings. The good thing though is that for everyday Republicans, the sides are being clearly drawn.

My 1st husband-an engineer and a redneck-had a favorite thing he would say to pseudo intellectuals when they’d made an especially clueless statement-while smiling he’d say “thank you for that, XXXX-you have obviously been educated beyond your intelligence”-seldom did anyone take offense-mostly he got only a blank stare...

What Brooks is inadvertently admitting is that he is not the seed of the Triune God but the seed of evolutionary energy. This is the idea underlying genetic determinism aka cultural determinism, the parent of identity politics, group solidarity, and cultural Marxism. In its turn, cultural determinism was birthed by the Darwinian idea that mass man (hominids) are soulless bio-machines whose his identity is determined, for example, by its genetically caused skin color or sexual and/or erotic preferences. This proposition rejects the concepts of the human spirit, individuality, free will, and morally informed conscience (paired with personal accountability and responsibility) because it emphatically denies the existence of the God of the Bible.

Consequently, and by extension, it also rejects the first principles of our liberty enumerated in the Declaration of Independence. These are our "unalienable rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Cultural Marxism must reject these because these principles of liberty "are endowed by our Creator," who made man in His image.

Cultural determinism, said David Horowitz is

"identity politics-the politics of radical feminism, queer revolution, and Afro-centrism-which is the basis of academic multiculturalism...a form of intellectual fascism and, insofar as it has any politics, of political fascism as well." (Mussolini and Neo-Fascist Tribalism: Up from Multiculturalism, by David Horowitz, Jan. 1998)

Identity politics---the politics of Trump's deplorables.

The sub-theme here is that white, non-college voters—Trump's best group—pack a lot of punch in the Electoral College.— Nate Silver (@NateSilver538) November 3, 2016

Interesting recollection. Today, the Democrats have a candidate, who takes the money from any source imaginable, has no respectability, but absolutely refuses to shut up. And then there is this Brooks twit, who acts like a Leftwing Professor, using a raised eye-brow approach, trying to make her sound respectable, by the most amateurish attempt to intimidate. (But she still only comes across as anything but.)

My (knee-jerk Democrat) Hispanic family doesn’t know what to do with me, I guess they must think I’m stupid and deceived

Just stand up for yourself. You have the power of conviction. I also have many spineless acquaintances who can't put 2+2 together as well.

If they want to ignore the fact that Clinton has lied non-stop about her e-mails, and the real purpose of her secret server, or if they want to deny she and her wars have set the middle-east on fire - then go to any site that lists the wikileaks e-mails, and point out to them that THIS is what government by her and her clique would be like.

The area I live in is not the best, so it is wise to be armed-bad people move to remote areas like this to pursue illegal enterprises like meth cooking and dealing-all the meth labs that have been busted in the last few years in this county have been operated by Anglo guys-not one Latino or Black-guess they were watching too much “Breaking Bad”...

Your husband understood the breed. So did Dean Swift, early in the 18th Century. If you have access to Gulliver’s Travels, check out the third voyage to a place called Laputa, where the master satirist nails the Academic frauds.

This fool Brooks is too dumb to understand that it is not a matter of their intellects but of what jobs they have and the businessesj that they are in.
