Jeff has always impressed me with his level headed posts and comments and the patience he has shown to others on this forum.

I am so very sad to hear this news about our much beloved fellow Freeper, Jeff Head. As some of you may know, Mr. Head was a friend and co-patriot of my husband’s (actually, my husband’s first name is also Jeff) but he was commonly known here at Free Republic as “Doomonyou”. My Jeff and I
were immeasurably blessed to be Mr. Head’s friend. He and his wife Gayle were faithful prayer warriors for my husband during my Jeff’s battle with Peritoneal Mesothelioma. It is a privilege to be Jeff’s friend and sister-in-Christ and I join in with my fellow Freepers, sending our heartfelt prayers up to our Lord and Savior, Jesus, for Jeff and Gayle Head and their family.

If I'm not mistaken, Jeff who I met at a FR event in Las Vegas is a former Navy Seal. I believe his handle is, "Travis Mcgee". Many many of FR participants have seen his postings about military, Fedgov, Constitutional principles, not to mention the many fiction books he wrote about coming doom to Western Civilization, along the line of Clancy.
When we met he was so impressed I pulled together the March for Freedom back in 1998. Didn't know anything about him at the time but now I do and what an Honor for a former Navy Seal to congratulate a lowly Swabbie like me.
Jeff, I know your family is with you...you are that kind of man. It was an previage to meet you. I will forever remember your efforts for America. I Love and Respect you, Shipmate.
