Huma Abedin will continue to cooperate with the FBI, even as she’s blaming her latest problems on her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner, according to a lawyer representing Hillary Clinton’s closest aide.
“From the beginning, Ms. Abedin has complied fully and voluntarily with State Department and law enforcement requests, including sitting for hours-long interviews and providing her work-related and potentially work-related documents,” lawyer Karen Dunn said in a statement Monday night.
Dunn, a former lawyer in the Obama White House and a former communications director for Clinton’s Senate office, said Abedin first learned the FBI was looking into emails on her laptop Friday, after Director James Comey sent a letter to Congress notifying lawmakers that new evidence had emerged in the Clinton email investigation.
“She only learned for the first time on Friday, from press reports, of the possibility that a laptop belonging to Mr. Weiner could contain emails of hers. While the FBI has not contacted us about this, Ms. Abedin will continue to be, as she always has been, forthcoming and cooperative,” Dunn said in her statement.

Thanks for responding. I think Obama would mind a Trump victory less now than he would have even a week ago for two reasons: after last Friday, if Trump wins, Obama and all the media will frame it not as a reflection of how voters feel about Obama’s policies than about how corrupt HRC is; and if HRC wins, she will so embattled as a President who is under criminal investigation that she keeping Obama’said legacy will be something she has no time or capacity for. She will be waging war with the FBI, as well as members of her own party who may pressure to resign.

She apparently hasn’t been on the road with Hillary since last Friday?? Reporters on the plane said she was on board but didn’t get off the plane at that stop. I can’t remember if it was AZ or NV...Pictures on the news showed the black curtain that separates Hillary and Huma from the great unwashed when they’re on the plane...
Last Friday was the last time she was on the plane. Saturday morning, it was reported that Huma and Hilly had a 45 minute private conversation .... no staff or anyone else allowed, just the two of them. Hilly went on to campaign & Huma stayed in NY - press was camped outside her apt. & campaign headquarters to get pics of her. Today will be the 4th day Huma has not traveled with Hilly. Hilly/campaign has also “demoted” Huma by referring to her as ‘a staffer’ ...
If Hilly wins the election, maybe Huma would appear with her again, but I’m thinking the legal troubles, which pit Huma against Hilly, will continue to keep them apart. Huma has a 4 year old - Carlos is going to be out of the picture, in jail doing hard time (no pun intended) for child pornography unless he can really break open the CF for the Feds. Huma will end up with sole custody. Huma has a better shot at “Let’s Make A Deal” - I would imagine she would do what she has to do to try to stay out of prison so she can raise her son. Both Huma & Carlos (IMO) are likely to make deals of some sort, especially if Huma thinks Hilly can no longer protect her & I think that is clearly the case now.

I don’t think that woman cares much about her son or staying out of prison for his benefit. If he mattered at all to her, she wouldn’t have put that #(%*^&## witch before his welfare. I’d like to see this whole affair as a subtle way of REMOVING her from ever entering the WH again if Hillary makes it there. But probably not since it seems they do have the goods on Weiner and his computer.
I don’t see anyone in the government able to remove her from a position if Hillary wants her in the WH or ANYWHERE ELSE for that matter. It wouldn’t need any congressional confirmation. She would name her without a blink of an eye and thumb her nose at the rest of us. I’ve only thought about having her at her side in the WH but perhaps she would even go so far as name her to a cabinet post. Nothing is past that witch - NOTHING. She is truly not operating on all cylinders.

Then let’s amend the Constitution! Finish your term and you MUST leave the country preferably to a place without modern conveniences. I can just see him MONITORING elections/conditions to make sure ISIS gets a fair shake in the countries they destroy! Ala another no good democrat president.. She (Huma) would either be Chief of Staff or have the duties of First Lady since Slick Willy is obviously not suitable & Chelsea says she’s staying in NY .... that’s what they’ve been talking about.

Yes he was a major player while in congress. I remember he used to be one of the firsts ones out attacking the republicans or whatever the target was for that week.
He used to really bug me. It was a happy day indeed when he resigned. Breitbart was involved with that wasn’t he?

I would expect her to be named Chief of Staff. I don’t believe for a minute that Chelsea will stay out of the limelight UNLESS the Clinton Foundation(s) gets a lot hotter! I don’t think she’s made many friends there nor do I think any likely culprits will spill the beans on either Hillary or her spouse regarding the happenings there.
Why is there silence about all the books that came out about them shortly after the campaign began? There were some good revelations in those and the country should have been drowning in that information for the past year. Might have made a difference.
