The FBI obtained a warrant to search emails related to the Hillary Clinton private server probe that were discovered on ex-congressman Anthony Weiner's laptop, law enforcement officials confirmed Sunday.
The warrant came two days after FBI director James Comey revealed the existence of the emails, which law-enforcement sources said were linked to Weiner's estranged wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
The FBI already had a warrant to search Weiner's laptop, but that only applied to evidence of his allegedly illicit communications with an underage girl.

I’m laughing pretty hard myself. The latest Assange video said it was Anonymous....and Anonymous said, “It was us, and NOT Russians!” Sort of takes the wind out of that boat’s sails.
I’ve been saying for months that once the Wikileaks documents started getting uploaded — especially when you saw that they had tens of thousands of e-mails from the account of someone as well-connected as John Podesta — then everyone who has any involvement in these investigations has to operate as if every e-mail to and from the Clinton team that ever existed is going to end up in the public domain at some point in the future.
The right authorities (except DOJ) should subpoena the CF files right now as the shredders are going 24X7 there

I have been thinking about that. The moment the FBI confirms classified emails exist. Then someone from the FBI will show up at the NYPD and say All of your copies of the emails belong to us. Hand them over.

I think that is quite possible. But.... I also think that by Weds We could be seeing the second drop of the missing 33K emails. That would present another massive problem both for Hillary and the FBI.
There won’t be a second drop unless the MSM says there was a second drop. I know they (Hillary and the Media) are running out of time, but they will say, after Comey closes the case again, that it’s old news and the FBI cleared her AGAIN.
I hate being so cynical but this ain’t over by a long shot.

Just my opinion, but The only stuff that will leak will what they want to leak. As for Comey, I have no reason to trust him..follow the money. For the record, I trust no one in DC.

Weiner texted a girl that he may or may not have known was 15. No contact. He won’t get more than 1-2 months. Even if charged. Which I find highly unlikely.
Wrong. People have gotten YEARS in prison for a single pedo pic. Weiner cross THE line explicitly hitting on a 15 year old. He’s looking at several years in Federal prison, IMO.
You think Comey and Lynch actually have control of this? I think they have totally lost control. Too many leaks - and it isn’t just an FBI matter - NYPD and NC involved as well - so you have a lot of folks you have to get to. Rumors are the FBI and DOJ non-politcals are in revolt as well they would be.
Well, it remains to be seen how it plays out...if it is a ruse to promote Hillary, it will cause a lot more trouble than they expect..JMHO...

Yep. With 10 days to go until the election this hot potato doesn't need to be in anyone's hands for more than the minimum time necessary or it starts to burn. The DOJ can't run out the clock and going forward is risky too. The FBI can't credibly clear 650,000 emails in the time allotted, but all it takes is a second to happen across that one that blows the whole thing up. There are going to be some sweaty late-night conversations in DC for the next few days.
They have been overuled.
