The FBI is reopening its investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) tweeted Friday morning: "FBI Dir just informed me, 'The FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.' Case reopened."
Moments later, NBC News reported that the agency was reopening the investigation and shared a letter from FBI director James Comey informing key lawmakers of the investigation.

I think you’re 100% right.
I have enough knowledge of the Bureau to know there are many, many good and dedicated agents in there now. They are conscientious and strive to do their job right - all the time.
But beyond that, I’m a little suspicious there may be some shenanigans going on at the highest levels that could result in major players getting immunity , pardons; resulting in social unrest and a suspension of the election or the inauguration.
I hope I’m wrong.
They must have an idea that Trump is going to win, and they don’t want to be left holding the bag for hitlery.
Just a theory.

Exactly my first thought too. Comey might have woke up and thought to himself “omg Trump might actually win” and doesn’t want to share a cell with Queen Shrillery.
Very good point. When you consider how outrageous it was for Comey to tank the investigation in the first place, I wouldn’t put it past him (and her, of course) that this is a ruse. Hopefully not, but I’m not getting overjoyed until I see her in prison stripes.
I have no doubt this is just a set up for the FBI to declare Hillary 100% super innocent and the most transparent honest human being that ever lived.
I have zero faith in the FBI.

I have been wondering: Can a President pardon himself?
Maybe one of those device that was “lost” or they tried to destroy with hammers at the state dept.
We don’t need Hillary to be indicted. Just need the investigation to continue through the election. 11 more days of investigation.
That’s my take, too. Comey is going CYA with stuff coming out he can’t hide. If Hillary were to be elected, I suspect there may be far more and even worse things dumped. This is uncannily spooky to watch these people readjust so much stuff as what was being kept secret by government officials is coming out anyway.
Trying to wrap my head around this. Whatever is going on I expect another whitewash or some stooge taking the fall for Clinton. Having said that, why now, why not in 12 days? This hurts Canckles, ZERO way of getting around it.
My best guess is that unlike the corrupt and bought off DOJ (93% of political donation to Criminal Clinton) there are still a few Patriots left in the FBI. They were going to go rogue on Comey as whatever they came up with is just to damming.

My guess is that “professional FBI agents” recommended the investigation be reopened when the new emails were found and Comey had no choice but to agree.
Most FBI agents are good decent people.
Comey doing a little CYA, as it now looks like Trump may indeed be the #45. Burn the witch!!! Then go after the Clinton Foundation and put Bill & Chelsea right in there with her.

I agree. It must be excruciating for honest law enforcement people to have to work under such a corrupt, evil regime.
