This run off area is the equivalent of the deep sand like material set up in the mountains off of the interstate system, designed to catch runaway semis when their brakes fail. It appears to be a foam like material topped with a thin veneer of cement, containing a soft underbelly of earthen material. A braking system in essence. The likes of an aircraft carrier’s arresting cable. Brilliant.
An earlier report stated that the aircraft was a 747. Not true. The a/c was a 737 variant.

I’m not a tax expert by any stretch, but I seem to recall hearing or reading that $10,000 is the limit for a gift to anyone, family or not. Anyone that is more familiar with taxes, please correct me on this.

I thought District 2 was northwest corner over by NH state line, yet he’s campaigning (and kids two) down in the must more populist area. I’m hoping that means they have internals that says the whole state is in play, not just D2 area.
Raising money for local candidates or the local has bought beyond what the campaign alloted them. Talked to someone south of terre Haute. Their counties did the same. Needed three times or almost as many as the entire state allotment.

On my way to Lisbon. Selected dress suit instead of (the usual) overalls. Cabela’s cap with a clinton/gore ‘96 button, my disguise. Rainy and windy here. I’ll report in when I get to the venue. Probably 80-90 minutes.
