I have been battling a huge cold for several days. It put a bit of a damper on my trip to Maine (((all that driving with a sinus headache!))) and now i am extremely tired.

My phone says RAIN Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
High 30s, low 40s during the day, but pushing freezing at night. NOT good! Maybe some snow on Wednesday, but mid 20s at night all week...LOTS OF ICE POTENTIAL.

Yikes! Not good at all! Way too much potential for ice! It looks like a couple of “adventurous” drives to work next week.
Heck, I see snow and icy streets in downtown Anchorage now. I guess they don’t get sunshine to help melt that stuff. Or it just hasn’t been warm enough this week.
The weather gal said there’s a slight chance for rain next Thurs. but she wasn’t going to put it on her weather map tonight. She’ll have a better idea of how it might work out by next week.
We’re desperate for rain right now. We worry about someone driving on the road past the farm tossing a lit cigarette out and starting a fire here. It’s dry enough for it. The grass along the ditch is crispy brown and now our fields are full of soybean stubble.
