A few days ago, ABC News reported a twelve-point lead for Hillary Clinton in their tracking poll, but … it didn’t last long. Just three days later, the same tracking poll shows her lead over Donald Trump down to six points. Needless to say, the most prominent conclusion from this roller coaster is that the race is still rather volatile, even with just twelve days to go:
With 12 days to go, Hillary Clinton holds a six-point edge over Donald Trump among an electorate fixated on the campaign and nervous about their candidate losing, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News Tracking Poll.
How does a tracking poll shift six points in three days? On October 22nd and 23rd, the first two days of the new tracking paradigm, the poll showed Hillary up 50/38, a big bounce from the 47/43 nine days earlier in the series’ normal tri-weekly configuration. By Monday it was 49/40, and then yesterday 48/42 — two three-point shifts on successive days. Oddly, support for Gary Johnson didn’t change at all in the same period, remaining at 5% in every result, nor did “no opinion.”

A couple of things are in play here:
1. A LOT of people truly despise her heinous. They haven't forgotten when Bubba was stinking up the White House, and No Poll will sway them. If anything, it only energizes them more.
2. People have grown wise to the media dirty tricks and lying, including fake polls, as part of the clinton crime family propaganda machine. WikiLeaks has confirmed this tactic.
The closer to the election, the tighter the polls will get because none of them want to be shown to be idiots and the lackeys they really are.
Exactly right. Limbaugh is in on it too, with this "polls will tighten beofre the election, they have to becuse the pollster credibility is important to them" myth. The pollsters don't give a whit about accuracy in public political poll reporting, any more than the press gives a whit.
Best news is that she does not have the strength and stamina to be out there stumping to try and pull herself out of the hole.
There IS no Cankles lead. Never was.
Unfortunately the damage may already be done. These fake polls have probably kept people from donating and working for Mr. Trump when those donations and efforts were most valuable.

We just came from Michigan and Ohio. Trump signs were all over the yards. Very, very few Hillary signs.
Very anecdotal but never seen that happened before.
Yeah, there never was a 12% lead for Hillary. This was just a liberal dream that now is getting a reality-check!

All this bodes very ill for us.
I’m going to express a slightly contrarian view here: While the WaPo/ABC poll was obviously an outlier, the overall trend of the last few days likely reflects the continuing increased exposure (Wikileaks, etc.) of Clinton and Establishment corruption.
Trump has been honing his message too. I’d like to see him pivot further toward a message of “The system is rigged against YOU, the people.”
Or “It’s true I like to talk about myself, but in truth, this is YOUR message and I’m just the messenger. The establishment attacks me because they think that by shutting me up, they can kill the message and hide their corruption. Well, this is still a free country: I’m not shutting up, and neither should you!”
I and my wife voted early only because I’m handicapped and didn’t want to stand in the long lines that appear on election day...
Of course, we voted for TRUMP!!!!!!!
Rasmussen pols show a dead heat 45-44 Clinton. Their polls seem to be in line (most of the time).
