Armstrong: Stop trying to make Temple attacks about race

Temple officials have promised to beef up security after a recent attack involving teens.

The TEMPLE attacks were about troublemaking teens - not race.
The youngsters who jumped those college students as they walked to campus Friday night are delinquents who need to be put in check before it's too late.
They were nothing but miscreants who took out their aggression and misdirected rage on random passersby. Why? Because they felt like wilding out that night. They were out to create chaos, so they did.
So, don't talk to me about gentrification in North Philly.
Don't talk to me about poverty.
Don't talk to me about race relations.
Those are whole other conversations and not what these attacks were about.
No one was safe from these teens that night. Not the six Temple students who were injured. Not the Temple police officer knocked from her bicycle by a 15-year-old. Not even a police horse. Anyone could have gotten caught up in that madness.

There is more outrage over an animal being mugged than a human. My question is, “ What kind of jerk kicks and punches a human nearly to death?”
But if it had been whites preying on blacks, it would have been ALL about race.

It’s only about race when they say its about race and if you disagree, well, then you’re a racist.
This is the Facebook page of the main victim of this “wilding” event. She’s a petite young woman, tiny even. The idea that 20 to 30 young black men beat her up sickens me. I guess it made them feel like real men that they could so easily beat up an unarmed woman who looks like she’s barely over 5 feet tall and maybe 110 pounds.

For them, it is already too late. The path that they choose to follow will ensure that most of them will not be among the living this time next year. And they will all die with their boots on. They will either be killed by another hoodlum such as they, killed by the police while committing another crime, or die from a drug overdose. Also, these are not "youths" they are hoodlums and hoodlumetts. Actually rabid animals would be a more honest description. And they should have been dealt with as such. And last but not least, the police officer that allowed the shit to knock her off her bicycle needs to find another line of work before either she is killed or another officer is killed protecting her.
And yet, if one of those “teens” had been shot by a CCW, “Black Lives Matter” would have made it ALL ABOUT race, and would have shut down the city in response.
All it will take is a little push back from some pissed off white guys. For now whites seem scared of being politically incorrect. I believe that pendulum is beginning to swing the other way.

I disagree. You would be amazed of the curing power a .45, a .357, a 38 Special, or a 9 mm has. Or a lock blade Buck, Case, or an Old Timer. Cold steel and hot lead have cured many a case of stupidity with no relapses.
This is the same playbook for when there is a terrorist attack. It’s never about Islam. When there is black on white crime it is never about race.
