If you think 2016 will stop being weird come November 8, please look at your calendars: This whole election process actually lasts almost an additional two months beyond then, finally ending (probably) when Congress counts the electoral votes in early January. But just because its been a weird year, that doesnt mean it has to end badly. Theres reason to hope. Consider independent write-in candidate for president Evan McMullin. He has virtually no chance of winning the election on November 8, but he does have a shot at being chosen as our next president.

Egg McMuffin as a anything but a traitor...I don’t think so...

Mormonic Snake
Sorry, NeverTrump, this is our conservative movement, not yours.
I wonder if these people are aware that they are harming other Mormons by painting them as traitors to the country—which the ones who do vote McFake are. The ones I know are firmly for Trump AND AMERICA.
I really wish that each House Member (Electoral Congress) would vote in January exactly how the majority of voters in each Congressional District vote in November. This would reflect the actual choice of each Congressional District (700,000).
I believe this was the intent of the Founding Fathers. The Congress reflects the will of the people, and the Senate reflects the will of each state government.
Unfortunately with Senators being elected by popular vote, they are beholding to large contributors, rather than their individual state.
There would be no “Winner Take All” scenario, where large blocks of voters in cities (Think Philadelphia, and Voter Fraud) could switch the entire state to one candidate.
The President would generally reflect the makeup of the majority of Congressional Districts.
I didn’t bother to read the article, but let me guess: Egg McMuffin could win Utah and Idaho, and thus deny either candidate a majority of EVs in a tight race, thus throwing it to the House of Reps, where the Republicans - who control a majority of the state delegations - would then dutifully vote for Eggy instead of Trump.
Did I get it right?
I had the same thought a couple of weeks ago. If they did do that, it would completely destroy any shred of legitimacy the GOP has remaining, as well as providing a lame duck president for an entire four year term.
Egg McMuffin is a last ditch hope for the Cheap Labor Express to keep the borders open and the laws unenforced.
Jonah Goldberg is a propagandist for the Cheap Labor Express.
Agreed. He provides a means for the pro-Hillary wing of the GOP, aka the GOPe, to vote for Hillary indirectly. For those too squeamish to vote directly for her.
Goldberg has lost his frikkin mind. He and Beck both need institutionalizing. They are making Cruz look like Solomon by comparison.
Oh yeah right.... and they have done such a good job of standing up to obozo
