In a editorial posted today called Microstamping technology could help police crack down on gun crimes if the gun lobby allows it, the editorial board of the Times revealed that they want to ban all firearms in the United States by requiring them to be equipped with a fantasy technology that does not exist in a viable form.

Yep...the microstaming would be gone forthwith.
It would be the first order of business.
The “dropped brass” comment will be lost on the snowflakes and marsh mellows.
Lets ban all Los Angeles Times editors from the United States.
Western half to HIllary and loons.
“The editorial board needs to lead and put signs in front of their houses that states that their house is a gun free zone and that there are no guns in this house.
Excellent! Let them lead by example.
President Hillary will do the same and the US will have an Australian style gun grab before the end of her first term.

They’re the same ones who will laugh—once—at a revolver.
So are you going to roll over when they come for your guns? As you said =>
“Yes there have been a lot of firearms sales.....but they have full-auto M4s. And half a dozen full-autos will tear up a place, and kill the occupant. Hard to compete with that.”
And =>
“They operate on No-knock warrants served at 4:30AM. By the time you figure out whats happening...its over and they have you in shackles. Just like the Cheka and NKVD did.”

An underestimated .357 or .44 magnum results in quite an education. I'm sure you have your favorites as well.
Yes, I like the simplicity, reliability and effectiveness of such revolvers.
And...I am still waiting for a coherent response from you to the comments I made.
They kick down YOUR door at 4AM with M4’s. What exactly are YOU going to do? Die in a hail of bullets?
Check the wonderful gun free city of Chicago and see how safe it is...
Quite likely. Better than rolling over and going to prison, don't you think. Here's another gem from your roll over posts =>
My point is that all of these firearms sales are not going to save much if they decide to go full Cheka mode.
On a case by case basis with no-knock warrants youre pretty much screwed. They best you could hope for is that they will slow the rate of any mass roundups of dissidents.
Neither you nor I are going to win anything meaningful against a SWAT team with M4s, flash/bangs, tear gas, and snipers.
Thats the optimistic view in light of the full militarization of every FedGov agency down to the IRS. Until that cobra has been defanged were all dead meat.
You stage your domicile such that you have the opportunity to become aware of the impending service, and have the ability to escape before they hit the door.
Which is exactly as I have done, and with a little luck live to engage them when the terms aren't so lopsided like 30 on one.
You intend to die on some stand as though you are more principled, and presume that anyone who doesn't intend to do the same is rolling over.
I intend to live to fight another day, instead of throwing my life away.
When are the news rooms, media transmission towers and newspaper printers going to get the Muslim attention they deserve? Just wondering.
They kick down YOUR door at 4AM with M4s. What exactly are YOU going to do?
I intend to be gone before it gets to that point. I have in place what I think is an adequate warning system with enough lead time, and the means to exit, and traps to gain time.

You can't do anything proposed there if you're dead.
Well suppose your good intentions are thwarted. You must have considered that as a possibility and thought about your response. So again =>
They kick down YOUR door at 4AM with M4s. What exactly are YOU going to do?
It's a simple enough question.
Post #58 was meant to be in reply to post #57.
I would bet my farm that the L.A. Times armed guards at their headquarters.
