After reading a comprehensive roundup of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal by National Review’s Andrew C. McCarthy, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin declared on Facebook that, “A President Hillary Clinton must be impeached.” Levin went through the reasons why.

I’m a big fan of Mark. He knows more about the Constitution and its history than any ten of us.

That being said, Mark is trying desperately to stay within the boundaries of the Civil Society and the law. We may be moving past that soon, if not already.

His explicit statements are to the contrary, he has repeatedly said "I am no Nostradamus."

But suppose he does, so do the majority of Americans and the smart money in Vegas and abroad. Is it your opinion that someone has to deny his powers of reasoning, abandon his intellect and mindlessly profess that which he does not believe? Levin has backed many a candidate whom he assumed would lose, he has granted them extended airtime even as he explicitly conceded the odds were against the candidate. I credit the man for his integrity, for his willingness to fight for principal and his values against what he acknowledges to be long odds. Anyone who thinks we must abandon our powers of reason and become a mindless cheerleader simply leaves me baffled.

And part of him will be happy if Trump loses, imo.

The man is on radio 15 hours a week and on television about four hours a week and in all that time there is zero evidence that Levin wants Hillary to win or Trump to lose.

Or he could do what JimRob said...support Trump 100%, instead of needless undermining him. But he won't because mark is not a Trump supporter. A side of Mark will be happy if Trump loses. Levin has already alluded to the article already have been written for the Trump loss.

Mark will blame Hannity for giving Trump time on his show. But Hannity gave time to all candidates. Mark cannot see this because he is blind or he is flat out lying. As Hannity said, the Never Trumpers won't be able to write it away, you will own it. Mark, Cruz and Beck will own it.

Minutes ago I just watched the videotape of Trump's appearance in Gettysburg a very good speech in which he led off declaring that Hillary should not be permitted to run for president of the United States because she is a criminal.

I think a little bit of intellectual honesty is in order here. There is no chance that she's going to be denied her run for the White House because she's a criminal and there is no chance, as far as we know now, that Hillary will be impeached if elected-unless new evidence of egregious crimes in the form of a smoking gun emerges. But, what's good for the Donald is good for the Levin.

Can we not grant Levin that he might be motivated by good intentions, using impeachment as another way to attack Hillary, just as Trump is using Hillary's criminality to attack her candidacy? At least can we fairly say he is operating consistently to his principles as a constitutional conservative? That's what we constitutional conservatives do, we seek to find the constitutional remedy. I have already noted in another post, Levin's splendid record of putting trustworthy conservatives on the air to advance their candidacy (Dave Bratt comes to mind for one) and other candidates even though in many cases the odds were long that they would be elected. So it is with the argument over impeachment, so it is with the Article V movement -both are longshots, both are constitutionally sanctioned, both are praiseworthy.

Finally, how do we advance Trump's chances by denigrating Levin who is doggedly, 20 hours a week, attacking Hillary?
