According to the latest reports coming out of Colorado, marijuana is a major cause of homicides in the state, and the problem is only getting worse.
"There is increased crime, sometimes violent crime, associated with legalization of marijuana," Brauchler said. "That's not what you'd expect. You'd expect the harder-core drugs." ... "If cash is the only way to acquire marijuana, crime follows cash," Brauchler said ... Brauchler believes the legalization of marijuana is partly to blame for the rise in crime. "It is easier for there to be black market in a legalized system than there was before," he said.
This all wasn't supposed to happen. The pot legalization advocates told us that legalized marijuana would reduce crime and effectively eliminate the black market. Now we have experienced and respected prosecutors saying they are seeing, firsthand, the exact opposite.

Liquor stores are cash business. But it is the dope shops getting robbed.
It isn’t the cash.
Sister in law (a non-cannabis user) lives in Boulder, Co. She’s lived in Colorado for 25+ years. A couple of months back she was in to visit & I asked her what if any differences she could see since cannabis was legalized. She assured us she has seen zero change in the community since cannabis was legalized. She has kids in public school & in college. If this kind of stuff was really happening to the degree the article claims, she’d see it.

I stopped visiting Colorado after they legalized marijuana and turned it into a cesspool where all the addicted young freaks came to get high legally and ruin the very nature of a state I used to so dearly love. I bet the type tourism they have nowadays is nothing like they had in the past but I bet they love all those dank crisp tax dollars that reek of marijuana that's sitting in ther banks, that is is they're not having to use it to clean up all the pollution created by their high tourists and new criminal activities.
Colorado becoming a failed narco state?
Once you let the genie out does he ever go back in the bottle?
Coming soon to all 50 stateds of the soros nation .
Someone in this thread claimed something similar, then later recommended Boulder and Denver be nuked.
No, make it legal,
Then the crime rate drops
Kinda like make 95 million Americans accept not working and the unemployment rate drops
Sarc
Julain Huxley's vision of a perpetually stoned population of mindless consumers and labor camps, run by upper-class Darwinian elite.
I thought marijuana was legalized to turn people into non-combative Sheeple who wouldn't disobey their government overlords and just go along with NWO without putting up a fight as long as they kept them high.../s
I am fortunate to own two homes. Each has a neighbor I rarely see outdoors. One is a long-time millionaire-toker, who at 65, is now on oxygen.
The other is a renter-kid of 26, who came outside yesterday to ride his motorcycle through our tiny community park, to disappear again indoors and stink up the neighborhood with MJ smoke again. With 40 million Americans not working, I have to wonder if EBT cards account for America's sloth.
I see this on another forum, but that advocate is a firefighter. (So both are public servants, with ties to public service unions).
Key word here is "chronic." It implies at least minor addiction. And, maybe, major addiction. They are so "chronic" they move to another state!
Kind of like saying someone is a "chronic" alcohol drinker or a "chronic" nicotine user. They are addicted.
“Drug addiction, which is something you advocate, is the closest thing to absolute authority over someone’s life, second only to demonic possession. “
You crack me up. You write fallacies, regurgitating the propaganda of the prohibitionists who’s fake war on drugs has cost society billions of dollars & thousands of lives. I use cannabis daily as medicine & I am so thankful to God in Heaven for giving us this wonderful plant.

“Why isnt medical weed sold in pharmacies like other medical drugs?”
Because the federal law currently will not allow that. When cannabis is no longer a Schedule 1 drug it could very well happen.

Why do you need to encourage others to use it? Why don't you just smoke it and shut up about it?
They look HORRIBLE, period...
