I wouldn't go that far. I'd more say he wants to regain the former status quo, and I don't think that's possible anymore. Obama, Jarret, Hillary and the Muslim Rats have carefully damaged the board - on purpose. The game is now permanently changed, and they hope to exploit it by turning it into a world war.
There's no going back now. Ukraine is gone, Putin's got it, same with the Crimea. We'd have to have a nuclear war at this point to even hope to change that. Disengaging from the region allowed Putin to act, and there's no going back. He didn't miss his chance.
Same with Syria, because now there's ISIS where there wasn't before. No going back - the solution to Syria (and thus Aleppo) is to eradicate ISIS. And to do that we need Russia's help.
Pence needs to get up to speed.

What's the matter, you don't know how to read, or understand what you read? I just provided a long list of statements from Trump and his VP pick, Mike Pence, warning about increasing Russian aggression around the world.
It is because of the Soros-supported Obama admin that Russia is in the strong position they are in today. And they didn't do what they did out of "incompetence", or "inexperience". The SOBs did it DELIBERATELY...to knock the US off the stage as a world leader. They purposely were weak going after ISIS in order to afford Putin the opportunity to move his forces into the oil/gas-rich strategic Middle East and ultimately take control of it. Russia's "big picture" agenda is to basically restore the evil empire that was the Soviet Union. People need to wake the hell up already.
All of those a$$hats in the Middle East are the only thing that kept muslim countries stable(because of the nature of that evil religion)...a strongman is the only thing that can keep a muslim country stable and taking them out of power that the dems have done are the reason for the absolute mess in the Middle East.

Syria is the cutout. She's trying to go through them to attack Russian jets for violating a "no fly zone" she wants to put into place.
Putin's reply has been blunt: attack our planes, we attack you back.

I think she sees it as a twofer - if she loses, she claims Putin hacked our elections, and that she's a victim, as she does everything possible to trigger actual warfare to distract and occupy President Trump and blame him for it.
If she wins, she personally starts a nuclear exchange, at least in the ME, maybe one or two here in a port, and she's created the ultimate wag the dog away from her exposed corruption as well as the excuse for martial law.

I’m reasonably-convinced Russia is Magog in Ezekiel 38. Especially with their help to Iran. I have never forgotten that one of the first things Putin did was to launch SCUD’s into an open-air market (in Chechnya I believe). Further, he said Russia was islam’s best friend.
That being said, Obama and Hillary poking Russia for no reason (other than pure politics and this Syria mess they’ve created) makes me, a bit nervous.
Guess we’re gonna see how it all plays out.
Putin knows how politics works. He makes more sense than the media or Democrats in general.
Yeah, he loves his country so much that people there are afraid to speak out in opposition in fear they will end up in prison, or worse, dead. You think the Clintons have a large body count, it's nothing compared to the Putin regime.
