President Barack Obama ridiculed Donald Trump’s suggestion that the election would be rigged, pointing out that voter fraud did not exist in the United States.
“You are much likelier to be struck by lightening than have somebody next to you commit voter fraud,” he said, citing a 2014 study. “You’d win the Powerball.”
Obama made his remarks during a rally for Hillary Clinton and Democratic Senate Candidate Patrick Murphy in Miami Florida on Thursday.
During his speech, he said he was thankful that so many Republicans had stepped up to call Trump’s accusations of a rigged election “nonsense.”

He always speaks in weasel words. “Witness voter fraud”, yeah they go out of their way to ensure that there are no witnesses.
If lightning hit the front door of the Whitehouse one hundred times in 2016, the odds are pretty good a felon organizing voter fraud would be struck based on actual records.
If it’s so unlikely, let’s pass a federal law that anyone involved in election fraud of any kind will be jailed for life, no possibility of parole.
