I'm unfortunately in Cardiac care in our local hospital in Somerset,PA. came here Monday with shortness of breath and chest pain..on a Heparin drip and after a Nuclear chest scan..I have numerous blood clots in both lungs, right lung more severe. many test have been run..and blood count is coming up..
pain gone, but still a worry..
Adult daughter from Georgia came running home fast..glad to have her with me..
am feeling better..hope to go home soon.. glad to have my laptop with me for company.

If the originator of their DNS lookup assignment is swamped, then all the places that report address assignment (who aren't swamped), can't confirm the address assignment when the lookup expires. Many of the websites have darn short lifetime (a minute or so) on the lookups. Lookup lifetime is "if the last time you looked up this address was (a minute ago), I'm going to look it up again."
Not to mention home routers, internet-enabled DVD players, refrigerators, webcams and all the other crap that's being hooked to the internet. This other stuff, the Internet of Insecure Things, is potentially worse than people's computers because the insecure software in these things never gets updated when vulnerabilities are discovered.
