During last night’s final presidential debate, the issue of the Second Amendment came up. Hillary Clinton tried her best to say she would protect the right to bear arms, but wants “sensible regulation”… whatever that’s supposed to mean.
I want people who shouldn’t have guns not to be able to threaten you, kill you or members of your family.

Anyone else struck, by how Hillary went and rambled on and on about protecting toddlers; that somehow that DC gun law was meant to protect toddlers, that so many toddlers either get shot, or toddlers pick up a gun and shoot somebody??
Toddlers cause most of the crime, and are the leading perpetrators of gun violence don’t you know.

Of course there was then a convenient news story about toddlers shooting people this morning. Sadly, some children did die but most didn’t. More times hundreds die in car wrecks but we still don’t outlaw vehicles. We haven’t outlawed peanuts yet either.

Conservatives need to begin to conflate the two issues, firearms and abortion. Fer instance, “Women should not have access to dangerous, irresponsible, .50 caliber abortions”. “Surely we can all agree there is no place in society for high capacity abortions.”. “All we are suggesting is common sense regulations that would keep children safe from dangerous abortions”.

Yes! She must have used the word “toddlers” ten times, at least. I have it recorded and should go back and count, but her harpy, nagging voice makes it difficult. :)
I wish there were more debates so people can hear more of that screeching nag; they’ll realize they won’t be able to take four more years of it.

It is goofy but I think it can begin to open the eyes of the pro abortion folks as to just how stupid they sound when they try to talk about guns.
The Libs were concerned about the number of toddlers drowning in ten gallon buckets. One of the genius’ (I think it was Cynthia McKinney)suggested putting holes in the buckets.
