If you were to sum up this situation in 40 words or less... what does it mean?
Some of the strongest Trump supporters I know are Mormons but at the same time I am about to hurl from looking at some of my Mormon friends Evan McMuffin facebook posts. The polls showing UT in play are as realistic as the ones that show TX in play- LIBERAL FANTASY - Trump will carry UT by teens at least but it is hurting the reputation of Mormons within the conservative movement.
I saw this guy interviewed yesterday. A complete narcissist who is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame.
FUEggMcMuffin!

I’m totally disgusted by my LDS 8 who have no clue who this guy is. My family is awake and voting Trump, all us. But they have this “ooh he’s LDS and doesn’t say bad words.” mentality. One gal today used the excuse that Trump already lost. What a freaking quitter. She had added me to a McMullin FB group without my permission, so I posted an article about EM and the Muslim brotherhood. I got kicked out lol! But I’m sure a number of people for FB notifications with the link haha.
My DIL’s sister went to a Romney fireside devotional to hear some faith promoting insights only to get a holier than thou stump speech. I think Romney is trying to stay out of jail.
These people are more interested in optics than reality. I’m trying to work on other LDS, but some of them are real suckers like you say. Maybe because Utah schools are about 2 grade years behind other states.
Arg. What idiots.
Look in the dictionary under PUPPET and there is a picture of Evan McMullin
Use it and people may actually read your posts.
Romney spoiler
Glennie had him on his radio show this morning.
And dirty harry reid is still a member in good standing - disgraceful.
A) Thank you for posting this comprehnsive expose.
B) “Mormons are tight knit and like to support their own,...”
That latter statement is the source of my uncultivated wariness in dealing with Mormons. (I have had extensive interactions with Mormons due both to my vocation and my avocation.)
I have found that Mormons tend to give preferential treatment to their own, and also tend to lose interest in one when they realize that one is not interested in converting to Mormonism.
As a Christian who has been in ministry, I strive not to treat non-Christians those ways.
