I think no. It would be live and on the record. And it would test the limits of the duplicity to which they are willing to go. They must be forced to put their own skin and reputations (they think they have some) in the game.
If they get caught in a lie like that, they are history. Just like Brian Williams and Dan Rather and others.
Actually they find themselves so deep in the tank that many of them will be that much more determined to help Hillary win — their only key to pseudo-honor.
