Wow, I would see issues with this arrangement, but as the DNC, nor Hillary's entities, are government institutions, I am not sure if this is illegal. The political parties have leeway that normal non- and for-profits do not share.

Did they actually set it up? And, did they also have one for Bernie? What funds went into/out of the account? What was this account used for? So many unanswered questions, easy to hit on the simple rigged and corrupt theme until they disclose details. BTW, which FEC report(s) was this reported in?

Two small follow-ups:

—I wanted to get a gut check that you’re comfortable moving forward on the August TV spend. It pains me to start spending but I think it’s the right thing to do.
—I wanted to get your blessing to move forward with the DNC joint account. We didn’t get a chance to cover that on our call. I’m obviously happy to have a conversation about it if you want—or move forward. I’m happy with the arrangement and believe it’s important to our money and operational strategies.
