Donald Trump's campaign is "pulling out of Virginia," a move that stunned staff in the battleground state, three sources with knowledge of the decision told NBC News.
The decision came from Trump's headquarters in New York and was announced on a conference call late Wednesday that left some Republican Party operatives in the state blindsided. Two staffers directly involved in the GOP's efforts in Virginia confirmed the decision.
The move to pull out of Virginia shows Trump is "running essentially a four state campaign," with the focus now shifting to battlegrounds critical to his chances in November: Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio, a source with knowledge of the decision told NBC News.
Where is HV?
“This smells strongly of disinformation”
Yes, Since NBC is working for the hillary campaign, we know how closely NBC checks their ‘facts’ when they have something to dump on Trump. /s
Everybody needs to completely shut out the MSM after this election. Sure, now we pay attention for good reason but I’d really like to see an en-masse turning away from the tv screes and clicks. Kill their bread and butter: ad revenues. They need to be destroyed.
Thanks for you kind words.
Come on now. Really???
No. Colorado is the easier path
I would be shocked. I live in Virginia, and I just don’t see a lot of support for Hillary. Not even close to the support seen for Obumer in 2008&2012. And I travel to Northern Va for work also. Or either Hillary supporters are too embarrassed to publicly say they support a criminal.
and also, I just got an email from the Trump campaign asking for my help in Va:)
Really? Sadly, not a chance.
Which is why it appears he is losing Virginia.
Amen. I decided not to subject myself to the endless Clinton propaganda machine. In the process of tuning out all the news shows I’ve become a bigger baseball fan than usual and am getting caught up in the Cubs run to the Series. For you nervous nellies and sweaty palm types stop listening to and watching the MSM. It’ll do wonders for your blood pressure and it will clear your mind.
NBC.

There you go. Looks like a few people are buying the swill from NBC. Too willing if you ask me.
When you have limited money, you have to spend your money where it makes sense. Virginia is long gone for most any republican anymore. Too many foreign born and government workers. The demographics have changed drastically in the last 10 to 20 years in this state.
(Dave's not here man)
My husband said there’s a Chesterfield volunteer meeting next week, I think Thursday. He was asking me if I wanted to go since we’re both off that day. As far as I know it hasn’t been cancelled. He didn’t say anything about it tonight.
There has not been a 50 state campaign by any candidate for decades. Trump certainly isn’t running a 50 state campaign. He doesn’t have the money and it would not make sense even if he did have the money. Why open offices and spend money on ads in NY and California, Mass, RI, etc, that he will never win. You have to focus on where you can win. That is Ohio, Florida and he has no choice but to go after Penn and Wisc. Arizona appears close he may have to get back to now. He is still ahead in ME-2.
I remember when it was solid Republican.
The GOP strategy of millions of immigrants voting Republican and growing the federal government to get more votes doesn't seem to be working.
But as this election has shown everybody, the Republican party is not interested in winning elections.
Fairfax county is probably killing him
I live in Northern Virginia. This part of the state supplies 1 out of every 4 votes in the state. While no one likes Hillary, Trump is a tough sell here in this part of the state. Liberals are not voting for him. Virginia has changed drastically in the last 20 years. 35% of Fairfax residents are foreign born and most of them vote democrat. Blacks make up 20% of the voters in this state, too. That is why it makes sense for Trump to fight in those states that are much more white than Virginia, such as Wisc, OH, etc.
