Twenty-six percent of Republican governors and members of Congress are refusing to endorse GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, according to a survey by the USA TODAY Network.
Of the 31 Republican governors, 54 GOP senators and the 246 Republican members of the House (331 total), the survey identified 87 who are not endorsing Trump's candidacy as of late Tuesday.
It is an extraordinary demonstration of the fracture Trumps candidacy has revealed in the Republican Party. There is no precedent in modern American political history for elected officials of either party to refuse en masse to support their presidential nominee. It shows that Trump will have to wage a national campaign without the fleet of surrogates and supporters that every other presidential contender has relied on for decades to help bring voters to the polls. And it illustrates how hard it will be for the GOP to rebuild if Trump loses.

The only ones who support him are the American people.
The only ones who support him are the American people.
Exactly. He needs to shout that from the rooftops.
Put ‘em on The No Vote List.
Take names...
If it has not been clear for awhile, it is now proof positive that the “establishment”, both Dems and Repubs are NOT interested in what the everyday voter says, thinks or does.
Donald Trump poses a clear and present danger to their power and position.
Isn’t it obvious that Trump scares the living crap out of them?
SO WHAT ?
Good ridance !
All Democrats are Democrats, some Republicans are Democrats, too.
All the right people hate him.
heh heh
Non-endorsement by a group hated as much as the GOP Establishment has to be worth, literally, millions of votes to Trump.
The only danger is that Trump will de-empahsize his attack on the MSM.
I am voting Trump. This will be the first time since 1980 that I am not voting republican across the board. Vote Trump.
I disagree with some of Trump's policies and actions, but I disagree with almost all of Hillary's policies.. and all they need to do is add "she has DONE" far worse things
When the media asks - don't you have daughters, how do they feel (about Trump's comments)? They should say, I have daughters, and the world being less safe, and Clinton giving away secrets and putting my sons and daughters at risk is FAR more dangerous
The silence is deafening.
Republican Party, Democrat Party. What difference does it make?
Barry Goldwater was NOT endorsed by: Nelson Rockefeller, Governor of New York; Jacob Javits, Senator from NY; Kenneth Keating, Senator from New York; William Scranton, Governor of Pennsylvania; George Romney (Governor of Michigan), and a whole slew of others who went nowhere in Republican politics after this.
I DON’T CARE!!!!! These RINOs have spent their careers advancing the cause of big government. Do they think true conservatives are too stupid to notice??
FU Paul Ryan. FU John McCain
Great question.
They swallowed the October bait hook, line, sinker and bobber. They got taken again, as they usually do.
The GOP should be purged of all the war mongering neo-con artists, send them back to the democrat party from whence they came in the first place. Then purge the traitorous open-borders crowd, send them to prison where they rightly belong.
“All the right people hate him”
Yep. He was appealing to me from the very beginning due to this one simple fact: he has ALL the right enemies.
....the survey identified 87 who are not endorsing Trump's candidacy as of late Tuesday.
"Not endorsing" does not mean "opposing". There is a difference. MSN pretend journalists think they're being too cute by half. But a careful reading shows what they insinuate is not necessarily truth.
