Yeah, yeah.... typical freeper flame..... I’ve been over myself for many years now... I don’t have hysteria.... I am just not so naive to think that “no one goes to her rally’s”.... “all the polls are rigged”.... etc.... when we stop lying to our choir, maybe we might drum up a candidate that would literally beat the liberals by 15 or 20 points. What National Poll isn’t she leading in??
Most of us aren’t so naive to imagine that Trump is going to win in a blowout. But negative commentary does nothing at all to help. National polls don’t matter, it’s state by state that counts and Trump has a couple paths to victory that are quite viable.
Cogent? It was a desperate counter attack to save her campaign.
Oxford Dictionary:
co·gent [ˈkōjənt]
ADJECTIVE (of an argument or case) clear, logical, and convincing.
Dropping the 'locker room banter' tape was none of those things.
Trump NEEDS to ask the folks at his rallies to raise their hands if they have been polled!!! Wonder how many have ACTUALLY EVER BEEN POLLED!!!
Indeed, he might even see a surge in this poll due to his stellar debate performance.
The Revolution is ON!
Vote Trump!
Then why didn’t Little Jebbie or Kasich go this route. You know the Bushe’s had this information. I believe they didn’t know about the tape until this summer after the primaries were over and in coordination with the GOPE dropped it.
I expected this to happen but I wouldn’t worry too much. These kind of things have to work there way through. Now if at the end of next week we don’t see a turn around then we have a real problem. I did notice that the latest PA poll shows a very narrow margin of four points. Right now team Trump needs to hammer home 3 core messages.
1. Clinton is the continuation of the failed Obama administration and Trump will end those policies.
2. Voters need to be continually reminded that the Clintons have a history of abuse and shaming of Bill Clinton’s victims. They can NOT let the media get away with the idea that Trump is some how worse for his crude comments than the Clintons are for their very REAL abuses.
3. Team Trump needs to compare and contrast Trump’s very real accomplishments versus Clinton’s history of failure and corruption.
I believe that this poll is honest, yes.
I do not, however, believe that this poll is ACCURATE.
Specifically, because they’re still using 2012 turnout models.
It’s good for identifying trends because of its methodology, but it doesn’t take into account the groundswell of Trump voters who have never voted before or the enthusiasm of those of us who are.
However, I don’t think it’s propaganda, as far as I can tell. Just mistaken.
The fundraising tally I saw said Clinton’s campaign only had a moderate amount of more money on hand than Trump did as of September, but she had spent a lot more than Trump had up to that point.
Her SuperPACs still had significantly more on hand than Trump’s though.
except FReepers and many others!!
The voice of sanity and reason.
Dont think I’ve EVER been called that before :)
Not getting your point.
This is a multi-day running poll. It will take a few days for the bad weekend to work out of the system.
I don’t know if there is a point, but there are questions.
Though I have looked at this chart many times, today I noticed that Trump and Clinton’s graph lines almost mirror each other. The points at which they intersect are at 44 +/- 0.5, and the points where they are far apart the midpoint is the same 44 +/- 0.5. Also, adding the numbers together you get 87.5 to 89, leaving 11 to 12.5 for, I assume, undecided or other candidates.
Why is the midpoint consistent? And why 44 +/- 0.5? For one to hit 50 would the other be ~39?
Lol. I failed math in high school. I’m still having trouble seeing what you think is so concerning.
The USC Dornsfire poll?
Over the last three months, Trump has led that poll by 3-5 points with the exception of about a dozen days (give or take). I joke on this site regularly that it’s one of only one or two polls ever posted here because it’s one of only one or two that show Trump winning.
Having it show Clinton in the lead is bad.
My wife has trouble with math (not that I’m a whiz). :-)
It’s not so much a concern, but it has my curiosity peaked, because I don’t remember seeing this in any other poll.
Basically what it means is that when one goes up by x the other one goes down by x or close to x. Think of it as 2 dancers mirroring their moves. When they step back, they move apart; when they step forward, they move back together at the place they started, or near it if they didn’t quite perfectly match each other’s moves. That’s what I see when I look at the chart and do the math. The place they meet is around 43.5 to 44.5, going back to July. I would think that the place they meet would move more than that over 3 months time.
Believe me, I pray this turns around.
I'm with you, SoFloFreeper...
That's what's been driving me freakin' crazy over the past couple of days. "GropeGate" is so much easier for Low Information Voters to grasp. Unfortunately.
YES. And IMO, unfortunately the American electorate gets more dumbed down every four years. I think most of the Trump support fell or went to Hillary because WOMEN voters got all upset at the Access Hollywood/Billy Bush tape, and ditched Trump. Other polls I've seen are claiming that, anyway.
Stupid women voters... Many of them are an embarrassment to my gender. >:-(
