Tuesday mornings CNN New Day ended the first hour of the show criticizing Donald Trump for attacking the media, which isnt unusual but then the conversation quickly turned into what some may call an overreaction.
CNN began by playing a clip of a Donald Trump rally yesterday where the crowd began chanting, CNN sucks repeatedly. The CNN panel didnt like that one bit and blamed Trump for not telling the crowd to quit it. Hosts Chris Cuomo and Alisyn Camerota, along with guests Brian Stelter and Bill Carter suggested that Trump was endangering reporters' lives, painting a nightmare scenario of Trump supporters violently attacking reporters. Im telling you, something is going to happen. Something is going to happen, Cuomo solemnly warned.

Something = CNN goes financially bankrupt, following their intellectual similar situation?
Their tears are as fake as their content. I often wonder why people don’t challenge these hacks on the street, in their post office, wherever. I so got in Ed Schultz’s business one day on an elevator. He stumbled and fumbled his way through my challenge and begged for “an olive branch”!
CNN is mad that Trump wasnt suppressing the peoples free speech??? Bwwwhahahaha. Go F yourself, CNN.
Good point!
I am reminded of an instance in Graig Nettles’ book “Balls” that he wrote back in the mid 1980s concerning his baseball career and particularly his days as a New York Yankee under the late George Steinbrenner. It concerned his memories of the 1982 season (the team that George built) and the first game Reggie Jackson came back to New York as a California Angel (signed as a free agent in the off season and George was very nasty to him in the papers).
In any event, Reggie apparently struck out his first two times up (George apparently gloated and laughed) but in the third he hit a long, powerful home run. As Reggie rounded the bases, the crowd at Yankee Stadium began chanting “Steinbrenner sucks, Steinbrenner sucks”. When discussing this with reporters, George apparently said that he could not believe that the fans would use that type of language. Graig writes in his book “It made me laugh. I thought to myself ‘Where has he been all of these years? Doesn’t he come to the ballpark? He must live in a dreamworld’”.
Pardon for the overlong post, but this is in a way captures my thoughts about CNN’s reaction. They give us 24/7 DNC coverage and the result is “CNN sucks, CNN sucks”.
They’re all overseas with the savages, and they don’t feel threatened, they don’t say, “Something is going to happen.” Lara Whats-her-face got groped, fondled, digitally penetrated and perhaps worse, but hey, it happens. Steve Centanni and some other guy were taken hostage; it’s expected. But here in the US, in the midst of disgruntled Republicans is where they solemnly intone, “Something is going to happen.”
Sadly, they are right and they are wrong. Yes, this is leading to violence. You can not read the comments on articles for years and not see how pissed the American people have become and how that anger is growing. Where they are wrong is who is at fault because their owners are. They are not news reporters, they have become pure propagandist for the democrat party. Their owners chose a side and instead of letting them be reporters they have turned them into combatants.
This has only one outcome if it continues and it will not be the owners that get hurt. The owners of the press are turning this election into a war and in war there is always an point to far. I would not want to be in the press at a Trump rally, or in a restaurant, movie theater etc. The owners are putting them in danger but hey what do the owners care, it will make great tv and good propaganda against republicans.
Nice!
Im telling you, something is going to happen. Something is going to happen, Cuomo solemnly warned.
You mean like all those Trump supporters outside Clinton rallies who chased down and beat and kick and hit with eggs those poor Clinton supporters trying to get to their cars???
Oh...wait......
It must really suck to suck
ping
Just to be sure I’m not getting undue credit here, my only contribution was to tie “something happening” to the “paranoia strikes deep” line in Buffalo’s Springfield’s song “For What It’s Worth.”
Their video editor must have been taking a nap. Either that or they have a closet Trump supporter in their midst.
To CNN: Then stop your lying!
Klintoon News Network .. Embrace the suck ...
For sure somethings going to happen... Trump is going to get elected and reporters will be hyperventilating en masse... It will be sooo funny.
Especially with Anderson Cooper.
Just something to consider...not EVERYONE in the media is a liberal suck-up. Please don’t lump me, and others like me, in with the majority just because of the network ID on our shirts!!
Try being real journalist and maybe things like this will not happen. Did I say CNN sucks?
