Just to be sure I’m not getting undue credit here, my only contribution was to tie “something happening” to the “paranoia strikes deep” line in Buffalo’s Springfield’s song “For What It’s Worth.”
I recognized it right away. But you have a good point, maybe not everybody recognizes the phrase as a famous song lyric.
