Trump and the Surrender Caucus of the GOP

Right now we are witnessing one of the reasons the Left is winning and the Right losing America.

No Democratic Party president or presidential candidate in history has ever been subjected to, or will be subjected to, the kind of savage attempted assassination by his own party’s leaders that Donald Trump is now enduring from the great and the good among Republicans and “respectable” conservatives.

All for a locker room crudity that he thought he spoke in private.

Without the active, enthusiastic support of Republican office holders, present and former, this distraction from the real issues would have dried up and blown away in two days. But the ugly truth is Trump’s own party’s leaders are leading the pack of baying hounds.

Contrast this with the Left’s reaction to indiscretions by its presidents or presidential candidates: No matter the infraction, the moral failing or the actual crime, the Left stands by its main man. Always.

Of course, the band of Never Trumps now trying to destroy their voters’ choice for the presidency were already looking for an excuse to commit this coup against the party base well before the current opportunity arose.

But the reality is that in similar circumstances the feckless Republican Party, along with much of the “respectable” American Right, would be administering the same slashing to a candidate they liked.

I pray that Trump wins, for all our sakes.

I t’s not the Republican Party refusing to support their nominee, it’s the Establishment protecting their privileged position, won over a lifetime.

I’ve been a registered Republican my entire adult life, registering as such when I turned 21, which back then was the required age (well, I was 21 when they changed the voting age to 18).

I will be voting for Trump/Pense on November 8, but on November 9 I am changing to unaffiliated.

I am done with the GOP. F ‘em.

Right now is the time to begin forming a new political party! Whatever happens! Even if Trump is elected. The mood and the time to act is now. There are more than enough conservatives to begin. It is useless to try to take back the Republican party. It is useless to join the Libertarian party, unless they are willing to modify their platform. But a new Conservative Party could be formed and ready within 2 to 4 years to take action. There are some real conservatives backing Trump that can assume leadership! We cannot afford to go through another Election like this.

We are on the edge of loosing our Republic. Is there anyone here ready and willing to start?

The Tea Party is dead.
Thanks to the TP frauds and turncoats we elected to stop Obama, only to further facilitate it.

Watch out for fretting over what kind of candles decorate the tables on a ship that has capsized. That would be also to walk out on Trump.

After watching Ryan in the debate against Biden I’m surprised he can get elected to anything.

They really could care less what Trump said. They rather see this as the much wanted “hill to die on” ousting Trump and saving their feifdoms. They know they’re only chance at maintaining their profitable status quo is Hillary. They can continue pretending to “fight for us” just like have for the last eight years. Not this time.

it was fine to support another of the 15 candidates for the nomination

now that the R voters have selected the R candidate,
it is definitely time for everyone to work as hard as possible to elect him AND DEFEAT HILLIARY FOR SURE!!!!!

those that undermine or bad-mouth Trump now... are working to electc HilLIARy... because they’re crazy, stupid as doo doo, or else they’re sold out to the D party Corruption Machine

they will never get my support ($) or vote again, never

This is the problem — elitists burrow into everything new so they can either (a) inform and disrupt, or if the thing succeeds, so they can (b) take over and lead the flock back into the narrow path where everyone else is headed.

The longest freedom we have known from this was the Reagan years, but the Bushes had dug into that and we soon saw the results. As soon as Ronald Reagan was gone from the White House, that was all reversed and the voters could see it, hence Ross Perot and then Clinton winning because, if you’re going to have globalists running things, might as well choose the more photogenic ones.

In the modern era there was one Democratic candidate who was savaged by his own party—1968—LBJ and then Humphrey—over Vietnam.

Humphrey won the nomination without winning any delegates in primaries—needless the Democratic base was ticked....

I believe that the elites are going to be astounded—and rightly wetting their pants when the patriots show up, vote, take America back, and begin to systematically rid our country of the people who have been trying to destroy it.

I think that the reason Ryan and other GOPe members do not back Trump is because they firmly believe hitalry will “win” the election. They want to position themselves to be in a working relationship with that nasty woman when she “wins”. I think that if they believed Trump will win they would be doing the same with him.

That would be a really stupid and cowardly reason to give up.

Perhaps they are cowards

” Now they intend to surrender the White House to Hillary Criminal without a fight.”

The traitors in the Republican party have surrendered to the entire fascist federal government. Judges, bureaucrats and the Diktator Buckwheat are ignoring the law and stomping all over the American people. The cowards in the house and senate are doing nothing to stop these federal pigs. I have little doubt that we’re heading for CW II because only the people themselves will stand against these fascists and communists in Washington.
