So how does he win without those other states?
Or Colorado, for that matter.
Sorry we’re talking two different things. You’re absolutely right. I was talking about a case of a 269-269 tie that goes to the HOUSE
They can’t steal a landslide. And if they try, Trump and his supporters won’t take it lying down.
Ah, concerned, very concerned, are we....Yeah, Trump is down, he better take your advice about Miss Universe which is dead and gone.
Yes, so concerned you are, yes indeed, very very concerned.
You’re nothing but a pathetic stalker, who adds NOTHING to any conversation. Go pound sand, loser
Public Policy Polling (PPP) only work for Democrats yet in 2012 they were among the three most accurate polling organizations in their final prediction before the election.
The NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll uses BOTH Democrat polling firm Hart Research Associates AND Republican polling firm Public Opinion Strategies.
Since realclearpolitics takes a simple average of up to ten national polls, any one poll’s findings impact the whole in a minor way.
My own way of using them is to take the seven most recent polls, throw out the widest and the narrowest outliers and average the other five. For this week, the NBC News poll is thrown out.
That’s hanging onto all of Romney’s and adding NV, CO, IA, OH and FL.
I think he should focus on Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida.
Iowa, Nevada and Colorado are secondary states that could help offset if Penn doesn’t pan out.
I really feel good about Pennsylvania..better than I ever have. Western part of the state is going to turnout big time.
And no matter what the polls might say, I think they are overestimating the energy of her base.
I don’t stalk you. I happened to be reading this thread and happened to read your comment, and then happened to reply to it.
Yes, very concerned, I know.
Please, your obsession with me is a little creepy... I’m happily married
I heard Pennsylvania described as Fool’s Gold for Republicans a couple years ago. Seems accurate to me. Ed Rendell was sure McCain had a great chance at it and McCain didn’t come close. Romney campaigned hard here and narrowed the loss to 5 points. Bush lost it both times. And the state has only become less and less white with each passing election. I think Trump’s wasting his time in Pennsylvania just as McCain and Romney did. The election post-mortems in 2008 and 2012 always made a point that the GOP wasted their time in Pennsylvania. Trump shouldn’t make the same mistake.
I have never seen so many lifelong democrat voters deciding to vote for a GOP candidate as I have seen this year.
I have at least 10 family members throughout that part of the country that I have spent years arguing with over politics, never getting one of them to vote for a republican.
This year, everyone of them are sick of Obama, do not like Hillary and are excited about Trump.
Anecdotal? Maybe. But I’m feeling positive about it.
Trump having a error free next 4 weeks will really help.
I can’t see how Trump does worse than Romney there.
They painted him as a raider, a destroyer of companies, a huge free trade guy. And he still got within 5%.
