Hillary compares herself to Lincoln
It was a very powerful moment, IMO. For the first time ever, someone had the nerve and the balls of steel, to a point a finger directly at her, in public, and call her a liar. Of all the people she could have brought up, she talks about “Honest” Abe .... and Trump is going to pound her into the sand with it .... like this from today:
“History lesson: Theres a big difference between Hillary Clinton and Abraham Lincoln. For one, his nickname is Honest Abe. #RattledHillary pic.twitter.com/A2RESNihb4

I agree with you. It was one of those singular, memorable moments in a debate when one candidate makes a high impact remark that stuns and exposes their opponent. This one will go down as a classic.
Clinton: ‘Public and a private’ position comment based on Lincoln biopic
By Lauren Gardner [Politico]
Hillary Clinton defended a private statement she made that politicians need to have “both a public and a private” negotiating position, saying she was recalling President Abraham Lincoln’s deal-making after watching the movie “Lincoln.”
“As I recall, that was something I said about Abraham Lincoln after having seen the wonderful Steven Spielberg movie called ‘Lincoln,’” she said during the second presidential debate. [snip]
[Ruh-roh ...]
Trump missed an opportunity to state that Lincoln was a Republican president that fought a war to free the black slaves.
They both have beards?.....
I think that's a fair concern.
I also think that it won't happen like some on FR imagine....I think that it will be blue states (Northeast, maybe the West Coast) that leave. Why? Liberals are far easier to herd, and arrogant enough to think that they're better off without "Those Flyover Cretins".
“I know a lot about Abe Lincoln. Abe Lincoln is a hero of mine. Senator, you’re no Abe Lincoln.”
Well, she does look as wide as an ‘83 Town Car.
I think I’m a salamander.
/mic drop
;)
It would be pleasing to watch the Liberals have their own country. They could name it Clintopia. In Clintopia, no one works because that would be akin to slavery. Laws would mandate a 100% recycling, vegan society where it’s illegal to say anything to anyone they don’t want to hear. All enslaved pets would be set free. All housing, food, higher education and medical care would be free, until people realized they needed money. Then any money you have would be turned over to the state. When that’s gone, they’ll declare war on Trumpstokia because we, after all, will be prosperous, rich and happy.
Ahhh. It’s such a nice fantasy.
BEST...ELECTION...EVER!!!
Just out of curiosity, does that mean you don a powdered wig every morning?
I believe she looks like his corpse, decomposed these hundred plus years. Plus, she dresses like him.
A Town Car maybe
Bill Clinton is hers.

He does have balls of steal, unlike all the RINOs before.
He is blunt, and brutally HONEST, which resonates loudly against the polished, practiced deceiver politician that people are sick of.
So the choices are a honest but brash and brutal, but honest Trump, or the proven liar.
Hillary is much more like Buchanan!!!
Parallels between Hillary Clinton and James Buchanan
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3478690/posts
Both democrat presidents
Both Secretary of State
Both from Pennsylvania (Hillarys fathers side at least)
Both facing a divided country
Both dealing with black race issues
Both lousy leaders who create chaos
I’m thinking more along the lines of the Spanish Civil War.
Hillary could definitely take us more in that direction.
In one way she may be correct;
She certainly would have no problem with an indefinite suspension habeas corpus but without a state of emergency.
Blamed it on a video again!
