Donald Trump says hell jail opponent Hillary Clinton if he wins the presidency.
The Republican presidential nominee made the threat an unprecedented break with U.S. political decorum in the middle of the second presidential debate, held Sunday in St. Louis. [ ]
Trump's remarks drew widespread and bipartisan condemnation as un-American.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder, who served under President Barack Obama, wrote on Twitter: In the USA we do not threaten to jail political opponents. @realDonaldTrump said he would. He is promising to abuse the power of the office.
Ari Fleischer, White House press secretary under George W. Bush and a supporter of Trump, wrote: Winning candidates dont threaten to put opponents in jail. Presidents dont threaten prosecution of individuals. Trump is wrong on this.

If youre fighting with a liberal about anything and they pull a snopes card, ask them if they actually read the article. They usually only read the headline. In *many* cases, false simply means heres an alternative way to look at something that makes the liberal look good and the conservative look bad. Ask them specific questions about such opinion in a fact check and then brace yourself for a form of logic that will leave you in tears.
I like to tell liberals when they try to bring in the fact checkers is, who fact checks the fact checkers? They really have no answer for that or even if the fact checkers are being honest (which many aren't, it's just liberal spin).

“In America, we do not jail political enemies, unless they are nobodies like Christians who refused to bake a cake for homosexuals, then it’s okay to throw the full force of the state and its laws at them in total violation of all constitutional guarantees, and if anyone protests, we’ll get our pals in the media to cover up for us.”
But jail a Clinton for high crimes which I won’t need to name here? Forget that idea, Clintons have the get out of jail card known as entitlement.
Those who used to rage against the man are now, well, the man. Groovy baby.
Trump should’ve said because “A Trump Administration would enforce the law” and maybe left it at that, because that’s what he really meant - that under Trump, law enforcement officers wouldn’t be kept from doing their jobs by politicians. Elites dont get special breas.
Anyone who pretends otherwise is trying to find another Trump weak spot - and they always fail. Newsflash: he mispeaks, but we all know what he meant while some pretend not to.
and he DID not say “hell jail” her - he said she’d (probably) “be in jail” because his administration would enforce the laws. These people are shameless and transparent in twisting his words.
Ain't that the truth. Isn't it amazing, one of the most corrupt attorney generals in U.S. history is tweeting out this kind of crap.....Hopefully he's getting pummeled.
” Since she wasnt convicted of anything, what would there be to pardon?”
Great point! I’m sure they’ll try to slick something in somehow, but great point. They might’ve been to clever by half and cornered themselves by not indicting her. Oh, the irony!
It’s running 100 to 1 in favor of that comment even on reddit. They had to delete the threat in /r/politics because they couldn’t get people to condemn him for it.
And they have the dirty filthy gall to threaten and slap fines and jail time on U.S. citizens through Body Mortgage-”care”, while they stay exempt.
33,000 felonies are a lot of felonies.
How many felonies, that come to light publicly, does the average person get away with?
I didn’t hear him threaten to put her in jail. He said he would name a special prosecutor to investigate her dealings. She said it would be horrible for Trump to be in charge of law enforcement and he responded “Cause you’d be in jail.” And it knocked her on her ass.
I personally believe in the freedom of the press. But not to get in bed with a crooked politician. I believe every reporter that purposely writes a lie and the publisher who publishes it should be jailed. They should only be able to stand behind the freedom of press when they’re acting as real reporters and not as cheerleaders.
Mitch McConnell said “I’m going to punch them in the nose”, talking about the Tea Party, falls under the same category except Mitch was talking about private citizens not running for or holding office.
Because they were spot on and incredibly effective.
Ari Fleischer, White House press secretary under George W. Bush and a supporter of Trump, wrote: Winning candidates dont threaten to put opponents in jail. Presidents dont threaten prosecution of individuals. Trump is wrong on this.

LOL. Upholding the law is now an “abuse of power.” Ahh, but then we’re talking about Fast and FuriHolder.
Hey, Eric - we don’t also lawfully ignore the law and let high crimes and misdemeanors go unchecked by our AG
Here’s another unprecedented break from political decorum.
AP, Reuters, slims, wa post, huff, vox, salon and whoever..go #### yourselves.
