Billy Bush is scheduled to be in his anchor seat for the 9 a.m. hour of the Today show on Monday, NBC executives confirm.
He will address his vulgar comments made during a 2005 hot mic conversation with Donald Trump for an Access Hollywood segment, which Bush was then hosting.
“The plan is for him to have a chance to apologize,” said an NBC source.

Lose his job? Billy Bush started the Today show about 4 or 5 months ago. I believe this cushy job was payment for this Trump footage.
It disgust me that people will release that kind of stuff. Proof of how horribly far the morals of the people of this country have fallen, especially democrats. Anyone that gets involve with the Clintons comes out covered in the dirt that they live in.

I get Trump has to apologize, being a political candidate, but why is Bush here going to offer a sniveling public apology on television?
He could have started it for all we know. If anything, he tried to egg Trump on when they got off the bus to meet the female actress who escorted them to the studio set. Bush encouraged Trump to hug and kiss the woman, but Trump simply gave her a peck on the cheek when he was introduced to her.

A fellow freeper tried to take me down when I said that the use of diminutives like Billy, Johnny, Freddie, etc., where riff within the gay community - the original Peter Pans who deny growing old and enjoy chicken hawking. True, I should know, since I have to hang out with gay men for 30 years.

He can apologize and keep his job. But Trump can apologize and not get the job he’s running for.
That I totally agree with, this is Stupid these guys could care less what was said and by whom, they did this hoping they hurt Trump, and all it did is make the Jerks prove what we thought all along.

I’ve been waiting 11 long years for Billy Bush to apologize and finally the day has come. Now my life is complete.
Thank you NBC for this incredible news event. I shall never forget your courage and contribution to millions worldwide.
Nothing could be more important than what will transpire on Monday morning. My eyes will be glued to the set and my ears will hang on every word.
But there is a problem. I don’t have TV programming in my home.

I will off myself for being so so so insufficient and unprepared. I will throw myself off a building which will be my one story home landing on the soft plush grass below. I cannot bear the thought of missing Billy Bush apologizing after 11 long years. It is the defining moment of my life and I am unprepared.

The leaker of the video was more effective than just hindering Trump’s chances. He/she put a real split in the Republican party when the base saw all the ‘names’ running for cover like little girls who heard a bad word. They already have enough of a reputation as being spineless do-nothings at the DC level, now the state and local leaders are showing signs of castration. Who needs to be registered Republican and support those wimps?
Do you remember when Perot got revenge against elder bush? bushes are not nice people... took me awhile to figure that out. I never was a GW fan, but thought he did love the country. I’m rethinking that .. he is the son of the elder and the brother of jeb.. must be some revenge going on even with cousins.
Actually, I think this enrages Trump voters to make sure they vote. Men know how they talk...and women can be even worse.
