I dont know how to write this post without unintentionally disrespecting the real victims of abuse in any form. I apologize in advance if it comes off that way. But its part of the national conversation now, and unavoidable. The best I can do is focus on how voters perceive the situation. I dont have an opinion about who did what to whom because I wasnt in the room any of those times. That said
We fine citizens of the United States find ourselves playing some sort of sex abuse poker in which we have to assign value to various alleged sex crimes to see which alleged rapist/groper/enabler combination we want to inhabit the White House and represent our national brand. Lets call that situation not ideal.
My view is that if either Clinton or Trump can be judged by the weight of the allegations against them, both are 100% unfit for the office. I think Trump supporters think its worth the hit to our national brand just to get some specific improvements in the country.
Clinton supporters have been telling me for a few days that any visible support for Trump makes you a supporter of sex abuse. From a persuasion standpoint, that actually makes sense. If people see it that way, thats the reality you have to deal with. I choose to not be part of that reality so I moved my endorsement to Gary Johnson.
I encourage all Clinton supporters to do the same, and for the same reason. I dont know if any of the allegations against the Clintons are true, but since we are judging each other on associations, you dont want to be seen as supporting sex abuse by putting an alleged duo of abusers (the perp and the clean-up crew) into office...

While I’m not a huge fan of Stern, I do recognize that he is for better or worse a fixture of New York City. In that way I think it’s nearly impossible to think that Trump (also a fixture of NYC) wouldn’t intersect with Stern at some time.
Incidentally, Megyn Kelly also had some interesting things to say on the Stern show.
I agree with you.
Heaven knows, anything goes.
RE: “I don’t find anything funny about Stern. Rather he’s a symptom of the degeneracy of America. So it’s better for an intelligent person not to associate with him.”
“Hes playing Hillarys voters. Pull off a few more Dems for Johnson.”
Yep. They are dumb enough to do it too.
Some FReepers are too literal. We need an entrance exam for FReepers.
Ex. DJ Gary Owens
Adam has written a lot about Trump “pacing” and leading. This appears to be what he himself doing here. He may also shortly demonstrate a “fake because” and re-endorse Trump.
You need to reread his blog. His support for Hillary was out of “self-preservation”. It was his way of saying that Hillary supporters were wild, angry people who would bodily harm him if he didn’t support her. So his “public” support was so he wouldn’t be brutalized by her supporters. His “private” position was different. This commentary is consistent with his previous statements.
I hope you are capable of understanding nuanced irony. I like Scott Adams better every time I read something new by him. He writes with tongue viciously in cheek.
You probably don’t understand irony or less than heavy handed satire and take everything quite literally. You miss a lot that the rest of us get to chuckle about.
Let me guess, you like smoking pot? How’d I do?
The other day he said he was temporarily parking his vote with Johnson to avoid the “blast zone.” I think he still supports Trump and thinks he will win.
If your vote depends on which way the wind is blowing this minute instead of solid core beliefs, maybe you haven’t yet matured. Years alive on the planet does not certify maturity.
Also, Scotts showing all the many Dems accusing Trump of sexual assault of their hypocrisy by reminding them that they get a duo of abusers by supporting the Clintons. Saying that putting the Clintons back in the White House would insult women and every survivor of abuse was certainly his hardest hitting line in the piece. He is trying to wake up the more braindead Dems to see how their arguments against Trump would disqualify the Clintons even more.
The funniest bit was certainly the stuff on Johnson: To be fair, Gary Johnson is a pot head who didnt know what Allepo was. I call that relatable. I love his dry sarcastic wit. Im just afraid too many of his Trump supporters wont get it. He essentially acknowledges at the end that he went extra subtle this time.
Probably. I miss many things.
Let me guess, you like smoking pot? How’d I do?
That's most unfortunate. Stern is the embodiment of everything that's gone wrong with America and no thinking man should associate with him.
