The NFL said a confluence of events is affecting ratings, including the election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton diverting viewers to cable news outlets. ESPNs Monday Night Football game on Sept. 26 between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons aired at the same time as the first presidential debate, which drew a record-breaking 84 million viewers to the football games roughly 8 million. The next debate on Sunday night will go head to head with the game between the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers, and the league is expecting weak ratings.

The NFL is stupid.
Does this mean that you perverts out there are gonna turn off Erin Andrews and her eloquent questioning? Interviewing black athletes whose intelligent insights combined with their prose will be denied us?
Look at the NFL ratings for the past 5 weeks.
They are down EVERY week, not just the one with the Presidential debate.
I’ve seeing multiple articles on this without one mention of Kaepernick. Our media has become the punchline to a very bad joke.
When palpable, provable lies are told to try to affect business decisions (ads, investments such as merchandise, etc), is that not somehow ...
...FRAUD!...?
.
“We see no evidence that concern over player protests during the National Anthem is having any material impact on our ratings.— NFL Senior Executive Howard Katz
Mr. Katz auditoning for a job as a stand up comic!

So what will they say after November 9th?
Fans are too excited to watch the pretty colors of fall and the leaves falling from the trees in their backyards. Those without trees are at their neighbors houses.
Why would any business accept the free ads? A whole lot of people will use those advertisers as a list of where not to shop.
A bunch of rich assholes not standing for the Anthem.
I’ll stick with “on demand.”
I like the prose in baseball better anyway.
And enjoy the semi-prose near here especially!
One suspects that it's not just tuning out the games.
It also extends to NFL merchandise and advertisers as well.
In fact, advertisers just might find that their brands become "toxic" if they become associated with supporting anti-Americanism and racial divisiveness; and, it is more than difficult to erase that kind of negative.
.
The NFL Elites don’t listen either
100% agreement!
I’m done with the NFL, forever.
I watch some College, but not the NFL.
They are nothing more than a Worthless Circus run
by a bunch of CLOWNS!
Have a great day!
It’s not the debates. There has only been 1 Presidential debate thus far. Sunday, Monday and Thursday night games are all down...
It’s not the debates...it’s the NFL getting into politics and alienating over 50% of their viewers.
For me, it all began at half-time when Bob Costas went on his gun control rant.
What are the college football ratings? If it’s the election they should be down too.
Hahhahahaha!
Or Press Secretary.
