Ted Cruz is considering rescinding his reluctant endorsement of Donald Trump, according to multiple reports.
A Ted Cruz aide confirmed the talk to ABC News, and a source gave similar intel to CNN.
BuzzFeed News reported that the Cruz camp said there's "nothing to share right now."
Trump earned a hard-fought endorsement from Cruz about two weeks ago. The Texas senator said the Supreme Court and other policy issues superseded his own personal disagreements with Trump.
In the wake of leaked audio of Trump's lewd comments about women, Cruz tweeted Friday that the remarks were "disturbing and inappropriate."
Today in Nevada Sandavol, Heck and Hardy came out against Trump

Trump never had Cruz’s vote.
Now we know why Cruz’s evil head popped up this week. He knew exactly what was coming. He, Ryan, Algore and Romney all think they’re going to be slipped into one or the other races.

What he did was not an endorsement and who really cares what Lyn’ Ted does. Let him join the other limp wristed Republicans that have no balls to stand fast. Really tired of Republicans that fold at the first opportunity. But Lyn’ Ted, he’s in a class by himself. A Canadian as well.
After promise after promise, he couldn’t win the Bible Belt states. NOT ONE!
He only won two states East of the Mississippi.
Couldn’t win hardly any states without heavy GOPe iron-fisted control.
Then he promised he’d win big in the West.
He played up the idea he’s steal it all at the convention. Oh he had a big machine. He was turning delegates from Trump. It was a done deal.
Then he had to back down on that rather than look like the fool he actually was.
He tried to change the rules at the Convention. Lost again.
Time came for him to endorse Trump, and even then it was all about Ted. Screw the nation. If Trump couldn’t win without him, blessings to Hillary. No big deal.
For months Tead caused folks to disrespect him more as he flirted with letting Hillary win rather than swallow his pride.
Then he gave a tepid endorsement, spent a few minutes making calls... LOL Tead.
Now here we are. It may just be what he couldn’t win by the majority vote, what he couldn’t squeeze out at the convention, he may just be ready to try now, weeks from the election.
Could Cruz join an effort to displace Trump even now?
With Tead, who knows?
He may actually be as dumb as I thought.
