Donald Trump will probably lose the election. But he is a final warning. Unless political elites of both the left and the right become more humble, unless they once again ask themselves how their agendas will play in Peoria, the next rough beast might slouch over the corpse of the republic.

I read the article - he’s NOT one of us, or at least he’s not like me.
He sees Donald Trump as “the beast”, a negative and emotional consequence of reasonable people not getting their act together.
He sees Trump’s supporters being ignorant blue collar workers who are angry but blaming the wrong people.
He calls Trump’s promise to bring jobs back and put America first “a lie”.
Worst of all, he is a concern troll spreading the unhelpful message that Trump will probably lose.
I think Trump is a breath of fresh air, and when you consider who he’s running against - who will win if Trump loses - it amazes me that people claiming to be a conservatives can look at this race and write an article naming TRUMP the beast.
The beast is Hillary Clinton (Hildabeast), and if he was one of us, he would know that.

For 50+ years now conservatives seethed while doing little else as the Republicans they sent to Washington stepped aside allowing Democrats to import millions of new voters.
The ability now for Democrats now to win elections fairly with even the most corrupt, criminal candidates is the entirely predictable result of this complacency. But it is easier to blame voter fraud than to look in the mirror.
He has an inkling, the glow of an idea, but he is still a socialist Canadian and assumes that socialism will sooth the ruffled feathers if it sheds its more outlandish ramifications.
Manafort and Stone may not be with the campaign, but they are working behind the scenes to make sure Trump wins the Electoral votes needed. They know all the tricks.

They either think that everyone thinks like them or, more likely, think they know everything about everything. If you don’t agee with them, you are an idiot! One of the, many, great things that will happen when DJT wins will be watching all these people’s heads explode! That is going to be delicious!!!
Warning means nothing to the globalist mafia. The only message they would take is to drive them out of power. People cannot deliver any message without pushing a Trump’s win. Otherwise, the mafia would never allow another Trump to go this far next time. This is the “last struggle”.
But the author has certainly picked up on the rage. Trump is no one's "last warning", he's what comes after the last warning is airily dismissed. I enjoy metaphor as much as anyone, but he is no Antichrist, nor are his followers any lumpenproletariat angry at insufficient pandering, nor are we likely to be mollified by repackaging business as usual as some sort of political moderation.
Nor is he all that likely to lose, and what comes after that isn't going to be any apocalypse, but it may seem that way to the political and cultural elites whose excesses the author has accurately described. The real difficulty is that the ground assumption on the Left has become that the duty of government is to sculpt its society and to hell with the preferences of the individual citizens therein. And that once in power it is the duty of the government, and the unassailable right of its operators, to run roughshod over those jerks from Peoria who aren't real human beings anyway.
You can think that, but you'd best not say it, is the article's bottom line. And they have said it loudly and repeatedly. And if you act on it, you've got trouble. And they have.

Keep in mind that the polls are based on the 2012 turnout model. That significantly skews the data.
This year’s turnout will not follow 2012. Dems will be down, Republicans will be up. Both, I believe by significant margins.
The country is lost.
Even if Trump wins, and I hope to God he does, he only temporarily pauses our march towards destruction.
Only a total a complete collapse will allow for needed corrections to take place. Sadly, that collapse will be extremely painful for all, but it is coming, and sooner rather than later.

All that is true; BUT it is probable only if we do nothing. Before it gets that bad, we had better be prepared to do something about it.
