Prayers for all in the path of Matthew.
The logistics might be too much but Raymond James Stadium (in Tampa) might be a good back-up location.
The Florida Gulf Coast is supposed to get away pretty unscathed.
It's just going to delay the inevitable drubbing LSU is going to give us.
We’ve started getting rain bands up in Polk County. We’re also under a Tropical Storm Warning. Light breeze so far. Expecting the worst around 3 a.m. Couple more things to do outside and I guess we’re as ready a can be.
Well, if you don’t have a passing game.
Then again - yeah - it might be perfect.

Anyone living in manufactured housing should get out for sure....fools if they remain.
I hope your family is OK. The storm surge will push the river up too. I hope they are high enough.
We had a house on Galveston Bay. The houses were all built up on stilts. The old ones were 12 feet, the newer homes were 16 feet up.
We’re in Fort Lauderdale on a canal off the Intracoastal. We came down for a few days as our boat was brought down from MA. My husband has been a wreck as keeping the boat in our canal seemed like a recipe for disaster. Fortunately, we were able to get a slip well inland on the New a River. Praying all will be safe.
"We have strong cat 4 at landfall, crossing the gulf stream could see this go sub 920 and cat 5. Tom Downs here at weatherbell same concern"
There's no comparison between a straight line wind that lasts a few seconds and sustained winds between 75 and 100 that last for hours. I've experienced both and there is NO comparison.
Rush probably flew out to New York last night and will broadcast from there. Just a guess.
Yes..I think they figured in the storm surge and all......should be ok even with St. Johns River closer than the ocean.....they’re 15 miles from the beach..in Duval Country.
Jax bump
Joining you in prayer.
I have hundreds of friends in that area. (lived there for 17 years)
