Pundits, increasingly, are saying that both major party candidates are targeting college-educated white women, but Hillary is ahead in that demographic. Some conservative elites are asking how any intelligent person can vote for Trump. I see those responses as emotional, rather than rational, logical decisions. Im a white woman with a Ph.D. and Im voting for Trump because of my experience in D.C., my training in logic, and my appreciation for those who can get the job done.
When I first came to D.C. more than 25 years ago, I was moving from a successful academic career into a completely different, political one. Admittedly, my learning curve was steep, but it didnt take long to see through the bluster to realize that some of the most intimidating, articulate people pontificating at meetings and acting so superior and elitist as colleagues were great on paper, but not very productive or accomplished in reality. Some of the so-called experts spouting impressive data and quoting relevant research sounded good and shut down any dissent, but often, I discovered with a bit of research, they were off the mark and sometimes just plain wrong. They, as the saying goes, are Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Honorary degree. Liberals hand them out to each other like candy.
>> Probably more than those at Daily Kos, Democratic
I guarantee a higher level of intelligence.
Imagined? Oh, yeah, that would be like odumbo’s and arafart’s peace prizes, right?
“...some of the most intimidating, articulate people pontificating at meetings and acting so superior and elitist as colleagues were great on paper, but not very productive or accomplished in reality.”
Hmm, that might have something to do with universities insisting that their faculties publish instead of actually accomplishing anything useful.
“One o dem honorary ones?”
Oh, like da Reverent Al and da Reverent Jesse.

After having been a DC federal employee for 20 years, I couldn’t agree with this woman’s article more. An excellent take on all the so called experts in DC, by far mostly democrats who spend all of their time trying to impress everyone in vast numbers of meetings they attend, which by the way, never accomplish anything other than planning for the next meeting.
Honorary doctorates, like actors and actresses seem to get.
...and I say that having turned down free rides at two other Ivies.
Amen to that.
Hillary is the worst kind of criminal—irredeemable. She’s a true sociopath. She lies when the truth would do just fine.
I’m sure you ran into many of those in your law practice.
What was it they said about the Clintstones when the rapist was president?
They’d climb a tree to tell a lie when they could tell the truth standing on the ground...was that it?
Hillary’s a typical sociopath-lying is a form of recreation for her. She’ll lie when the truth would serve just fine. She gets a kick out of putting one over on you.
Bill is a narcissist—they lie too, but the motivations are different.
Both diagnoses are personality disorders, rather than nuerosis or psychosis. Meaning the disorder is deeply ingrained into the person’s identity and not situational or subject to change.
Neither should ever have access to power.
Wealthy working liberals can see the whole intent of importing braceros has failed; rather than accept their designated positions at the bottom of the Social Security pyramid scheme (to fund the retirements of ageing whites), the imports have simply become a financial drag on the shrinking number of working Americans. American taxpayers are picking up the tab for the “free” schooling, housing, food, and healthcare for the trafficked underclass; in return they get gang/drug activity, rape, theft, and murder.
It don’t take a rocket surgeon to see that Hillary is a disaster looking for a place to happen.
When a university bestows a "doctorate" on someone who they think will boost their prestige????

Thank you for one of the best definitions I’ve found.
The phrase *personality disorder* is meant to soft pedal the diagnosis. I have two in my blood family, plus one with a real bipolar/schiz affective diagnosis. The chemical imbalance is mediated by medications and cognitive therapy. However, even with meds, you never know which personality version you’re going to encounter.
I sometimes think that avowed progressives have a form of personality disorder that is contagious to those predisposed to fit into a group at any cost. It is also resistant to any intervention, including direct experience.
In addition to sociopaths, I have encountered people wbo are simply evil; they actually enjoy inflicting pain and misery on others. Clinton may be evil, but she is certainly a sociopath.
I think it is someone who hasn’t completed their thesis?
It sure doesn’t
I was in a Harvard science program, not humanities or (gasp!) economics.
They spent more time trying to turn me atheist than liberal. Didn’t work!!!
And I was more liberal back then then than now. But the failure of the Dim programs, and their hatred toward Christians and people from the American “hinterland” turned me off. Now their support for muslims, “gays” and unlimited Third World immigration makes me SICK!!!!
