You Are Milk Chocolate |
You often think of the future, and you are always working toward your ideal life.....like.....retirement from the ratrace! :) Also nostalgic, you rarely forget a meaningful moment... even those from long ago.Sweet moments to remember are the best! |
LOL! This one was working on her grocery list and not paying a bit of attention. Drat!
WOOHOO on that #50, ML!!
Ya think? LOL!
How are the soy beans doing? Harvest ready?
Can’t quite put my finger on what would give anyone that impression. LOL
Guess I need to hit the road to get the grocery shopping done. Food Lion isn’t open all night and I need to get there before they close. Wasn’t counting on having to leave Gabbi overnight and can’t shop after picking her up tomorrow. It’ll be too hot to leave her in the car, and can’t shop first since there are cold and frozen items on the list. The vet clinic and the grocery store are in two different towns.
I’ll be back fairly shortly.
Shoot! I did forget to answer that question earlier, didn’t I?
The beans aren’t quite ready yet but are very close. The beans themselves are tiny due to the lack of rain but at least there are beans. Just going to take more to make a bushel.
See ya when ya get back. Maybe you’ll be back in time for the next Woohoo! LOL!
What is wrong with Gabbi??
But unfortunately I turned out to be Dark Chocolate. And I really don’t like dark chocolate that much.

...pick you a Snickers out of that pile. :)
Or whatever else pleases your taste buds!
Thanks! Hey, Three Musketeers bars are good, too, especially if they’ve been in the fridge for a while.
Recently Mrs. Henkster found bags of Butterfingers and Snickers pieces at the store. You can use them in cookies, but I like to dump the bag on a pile of ice cream. Delicious.
Made it back in one piece and everything’s put away. Putting away’s the hardest part.
Gabbi had her two lower fangs pulled because the gum was receding and inflamed. Poor baby was having trouble eating yesterday they hurt so badly. He did it soon after I left so she’s probably wide awake and rarin’ to get out of there right now.
I grabbed a few jars of baby food tonight (strained meats) for her to eat the next day or so. Been through this a time or two and have the routine down pat. LOL
Yum! Now that sounds GOOD! Mrs. Henkster is a genius for finding those! :)
Glad you caught it in time and hope she’s good as new real soon!
She’ll be fine in no time. Like I said, it’s not the first time one of our cats has had to have a tooth or two pulled.
The worst part for her is probably tonight, being in a cage in a strange place.
Been watching Peaglet and he’s been dealing with dive-bombing curras. No Dad or Lady around to help either. At least the meanies have gone off now but Peaglet is still fluffed up. One ticked off young eagle!
They are gonna rue the day when he can fly! LOL!
Yes, they are!
I thought he was gonna snag one a little while ago and would have cheered if it had happened. At least they’re gone now and he can relax.
A big day for our young eagle. He defended himself solo and did quite well.
Now we need to see Dad or Lady show up with a nice big fish supper as a reward. :-)
Peaglet, the Fierce
That’s a great cap! He has always been a fighter....even with his poor little brother/sister.
I just wish it was a clearer scap. Very windy there again and the scaps all come out pixelated.
I’m still having a little trouble forgiving him for the way he treated poor 18, sitting on it at feeding time so it couldn’t eat.
He’s been mean to Lady, too, when she brings food - pecking at her face. She’s a bit afraid of him now that’s he’s almost as big as she is. Saw that last night when I played the video of the pigeon feeding.
NO ONE is gonna mess with that bird when he leaves the nest. LOL
I guess that’s the kind that survive in the wild. Since this is Lady’s first brood, I’m sure she is learning to play dodge-um with him!
Every time I go there he’s sleeping! LOL!
