No, but Pence did. His final answer was very good.
So, you voted for Humphrey? Maybe McGovern? Both? Take your “conservatism” and shove it. You’re as phony as Mitt Romney.
REally? Trump had a bad week? I must have missed it and so did all those at his rallies.
Hell yes!!! Knocked it out of Yellowstone Park!!
Correct!!
I just saw the Cleaner Man!
Pence may have just saved the campaign tonight. Or most accurately, Kaine may have taken Hillary down.
Better him than me!

Does the participants have any say in the format or mods?
The Commission on Presidential Debates: An Overview
How are the Debate Moderators Chosen? The moderators are selected by the CPD. The CPD uses three criteria to select its moderators: a) familiarity with the candidates and the major issues of the presidential campaign; b) extensive experience in live television broadcast news; and c) an understanding that the debate should focus maximum time and attention on the candidates and their views. The moderators alone select the questions to be asked, which are not known to the CPD or to the candidates. They do not meet with the campaigns, nor do the campaigns have a role in moderator selection. Starting in 1996, the CPD has used a single moderator for all of its debates in order to keep the focus on the candidates and their positions. end snip
OMW! You are right.
Of course, we are both old since we know who that is.
Vp debates are normally “ at the table “ . Cheney insisted on it as it is tradional . Palin requested podiums .
I have the channel changed. I am sure my friend was a okay with anything he said. She likes the new pope. Is one of those, “spiritual, but not religious” types.
The idiot (Jeff McKinny) said Kaine won...typical liberal...
They will have a hard time spinning this as even close to a draw. Kaine got BTFO’d. Concern trolls, you have your work cut out for you, not that I don’t think you are up to the challenge.
Good final question by the moderator. Made the routine summary of the candidate’s positions difficult.
Luntz said 21 people in the focus group think Pence won, four believe Kaine won, and three said it was a tie.
Who won tonight’s debate?
Mike Pence: 21
Tim Kaine: 4
Tie/Neither: 3#VPDebate

Strong ending by Pence.
Kaine was a rehearsed robot. Reminded me of Al Gore debate.
Thank you very much. Sorry to say that now we have Shepherd Smith leading the youtube online discussion about the debate - so anyone else who has a feed for sane discussion of the debate, please enter it here on this thread.
Yep, Pence had the bar far better performance and offered the far better summary argument.
Spin jockeys will spin, but Pence owned that thing, even with being constantly interrupted and moderator clearly biased etc...
But Kaine wasn’t being authentic, you could see it.. he was saying what he was told to say, and he didn’t believe it..
“Protecting the most vulnerable” Pence (winning statement of the debate)
Vs.
