This would be the third time that the term "pay to play" is supposed to get us all worked up and ready to kick that football one more time. Let's recall, again, that "pay to play" is formal terminology used by the SEC, and not to describe a crime.

What would be effective is transcripts of Clinton’s speeches to banks and other institutions, all of them for huge amounts of money. That’s what would gain traction with voters who aren’t following the election as closely as most of us do.
