Bill Clinton, on the campaign trail for Hillary Clinton, told voters in Michigan on Monday that the legislation has created a “crazy system” where millions more people have health care but those unable to qualify for subsidies are getting “killed.”
“The people … out there busting it, sometimes 60 hours a week, wind up with their premiums doubled and their coverage cut in half,” Clinton said. “It’s the craziest thing in the world.”

It’s not a crazy plan. It’s “working” as planned.
Here’s where a big flaw in ObamaCare is exposed. By administering it as a “tax” that requires taxpayers to file tax forms from their health insurance companies, Congress ensured that plans would slowly migrate to a January 1 to December 31 policy year. This means that insurance companies are sending renewal notices — usually with steep hikes in premiums — right before Election Day.
