Gun sales hit the 17th consecutive monthly record in September according to FBI data released on Monday, and overall sales are up 27 percent compared to the same period last year.

A total of 1,992,219 background checks were processed through the bureau's National Instant Criminal Background Check System for the month of September, higher than the 1,795,102 conducted in September 2015.

The worst part about your scenario, is this will likely start hours after Trump is announced the winner. With obama still in charge, the various fed agencies needed to quell this unrest will do whatever it takes to fan the flames.

All will be blamed on Trump.

And have the ability to cast bullets. For old fashioned weapons. Everyone should have a 30 caliber bullet mold. You can shoot them in 30-30, 30-06 & 308; the accuracy can be very good. With a gas check you can load some pretty respectable loads very cheaply.

Same can be said for cast pistol bullets. 38 & 357 158gr bullet mold is excellent choice.

A lighter 105 gr .358 bullet mold can be used for 9mm, 380, 38 spl, 357 mag pistols. Not always the ideal weight, but will shoot in them all.

If you have you brass, you can reload 30-30 ammo for about $.15 per round. You cannot buy the cheapest new loads anywhere near that. 30-06 is not much higher.

That is assuming gas checked cast lead bullets.

Pretty cheap plinking.

Using 170 gr. cast lead bullet with gas check can give you just about factory load velocity without leading the barrel.
