They’ll try confiscating the guns of others first.

That’s when the balloon goes up.

CW II.

I’ll have plenty of time.

In an odd Bizarro world kind of way, Jerry Brown is a patriot.

Not rocket science, no, but it does take some degree of skill and common sense, not to mention an unavoidable outlay for the equipment and supplies that, the way things are going, keep getting more and more expensive. You save money in the long run but the initial cost and fear of blowing up guns causes many people to just keep buying ammo off the rack, quickly spending more than they would have if they just reloaded.

The old straight-walled cartridges, at least, can literally be hand-loaded with nothing but a measure, strong hands, and a pocket knife. Makes me want to get an old lever gun (the newly manufactured ones are crap) and a single-six both in 45lc. I am a cowboy, after all, even though nobody but me knows it.

We did a cost analysis on whether to reload or buy and it was a wash.

I did cowboy shooting a few years back, and 45LC cartridges which cost me 75 cents a round in the store could be reloaded by me for around 15 cents a round. No ways I would have competed if I had to pay off the shelf prices for that ammo week in and week out.

If I had some spending money, I’d buy another gun or three. Unfortunately, I already spent it all on guns.

I have been buying mags this summer and fall. I used to think 33 round Glock mags were for gangtas only, now after seeing some of the rioting taking place, I have them in my house, my car and am stocking up on them.

Buy em cheap and stack em deep.

The ammo I use in my hunting rifle costs almost $3 a round to buy.

I can reload it for $ 2.08 cents a round using new brass. Every time I resize and use that brass again for reloading each round cost me .80 cents.

Reloading for my pistols is 1/3 the cost of purchasing ammo.

And I get much more accurate ammo to boot. But I shoot a lot as I have a range on my property.

YMMV

We’re not into shooting all that much, just to keep in practice at the local range. The brass goes to the range. Call it convenience: reloading vs buying.

Hitlery will put her lacky in the Supreme Court, the say the militia is the National Guard only. Then she will direct the FBI, ATF, etc. To confiscate everything.

That is why i will put everything in an irrevokable trust with my wife as trusty. Then when i’m dead by hitlery’s hands i won’t ha e any assets for them to take.

I reload but it’s hard to pass up the Russian steel case. 1000 rds cost little more than you can buy components for, at least in .223 or 7.62x39.

In the bond film Skyfall and its opening sequence, one of the villains had a full auto pistol a beta mag though it did not have 2 systems like that has. He must have fired 1000 shots in the opening scene and never reloaded. Most people in the theater probably do not catch that but it was annoying as hell to be insulted like that.

Depending on the caliber. Like .22’s - something like 20 thousand rounds are roughly eighty pounds.
