(Of the first three reviews I checked, one tut-tutted Allen for making hurtful jokes about the quality of television, another said he wasn’t entitled to make even a passing reference to adoption, and a third complained that the production design of the show, which was evidently made on a low budget, lacked all those immersive “Mad Men” touches.)

Sorry, I am no fan of Allen, or his character, but I didn’t believe that. It seems Farrow was using this charge.

He has made a number of claims over the years about his father, none of which have been substantiated.
Even his bitter, crazed, mother never attempted to pursue a claim that his father Woody Allen sexually abused his sister, Dylan. Given that Mia Farrow was never the least bit shy about starting one rumor after another to slime Allen, do you really believe she would allow sexual abuse to have gone unchallenged? I don't.
In 2013, he claimed he was not Woody Allen's son, and was probably the son of Frank Sinatra, a claim which his mother supported. Interestingly, both refused to provide any DNA evidence of the claim, saying it "served no purpose." Really? Disassociating yourself from a man you claim is a child rapist "serves no purpose?" Yet making the unsupportable whisper-campaign apparently does "serve a purpose."
Meanwhile, Farrow continues to say that Allen is both "my father and my brother-in-law." Well, which is it? Is Frank Sinatra his father, or is it Allen? Farrow is crazy enough to even believe both smears might be true at the same time.

IIRC, Groucho Marx said that first. Along with, “I never forget a face, but in your case I’m willing to make an exception”.
Anyway, Woody Allen’s 1983 “Zelig” was a classic in my opinion. He assembled antique cinematic equipment to make scenes from the 1920’s & 1930’s appear original. The Zelig character was human & his foibles understandable.
When he stayed away from politics & personal morals, Woody Allen could be extremely funny.
Except that he was quoting Groucho Marx, who said that first.

Well of course they don't....they're all a bunch of queers, sluts and horndogs.
Do they really? Or have the manufactured "memories" of a bitter woman been implanted in their minds? The fact is that pedophilia is a disorder in which (usually) men are attracted to prepubescent children. But, while Allen has shown an interest in young women throughout his life, those females were all adults -- not children, and certainly not children who were pre-sexual.
So we have really only Mia Farrows word on this, and like many embittered women thrown over for younger models, she has every reason to lie, and to attempt to estrange Allen from his own children, which she has successfully done.
