Hillary Clinton expressed doubts about whether the United States should go forward with a trillion-dollar modernization of its nuclear forces at a fund-raiser in February, questioning an Obama administration plan that she has remained largely silent on in public.
“The last thing we need,” she told the audience, “are sophisticated cruise missiles that are nuclear armed.”
Her comments were contained in an audio recording of the fund-raiser that appeared on the website of The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative publication, which said it was gleaned from the hack of a campaign staff member. But it said nothing about who did the hacking.

A former Defense Department official present at the fund-raiser, Andrew C. Weber, who raised the question about nuclear modernization, verified the contents of the tape, but also suggested its release was part of the same hacking campaign that exposed D.N.C. emails.

But, no Hillary fundraiser attendee would do such a think, they must have been hacked by the Russians. /sarc

Isn’t this a very narrow case requiring B-52H in flight? Quite different from Tomahawk, that could be launched from a wide variety of systems.
So what do you think about this new cruise missile that Hillary wants to cancel?
Haven’t been following it. If it follows the same trajectory other recent arms procurement programs, I wonder if after the usual budget cuts, enough will be built to be effective. Judging from the original post, clinton wants to abort it already.
