As Newt Gingrich said yesterday for Trump to be tied with a democrat in Minnesota means that the Clinton campaign is on the edge of a colossal catastrophe.

Trump is NOT going to carry Minnesota. But it’s good that Hillary will have to defend what should be “safe turf”.

MN is probably not within reach, but WI is more hopeful.

Obola won MN 53-45, so being tied is consistent with other polls in other states - ie, Trump is doing about +5-8 vs Mitt. What is interesting is to look at each state last presidential election and apply between +5 and +8 and see how the various states flip to us.

Perhaps the terrorist attack that happened in Minnesota last week has changed peoples views.

This means the Clinton campaign will end up burning through $2 to $3
BILLION in money for ads in states that should be safely "theirs."
Not hard to figure out why: Americans don't want a political dynasty. Why do you think Jeb Bush didn't get support during the primaries? And they don't want Hillary Clinton as a result?
