Tonight, a clear contrast was drawn between the two nominees. Tonight, Hillary Clinton made it clearer than ever that if elected President, our future will continue on the same path that is hurting millions of Americans. If Clinton is elected, we know that the havoc Obamacare is wreaking on American families, on small businesses, and on our healthcare system will continue. We know that President Obamas relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry and to wage war on coal will continue. We know that the Obama administrations willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism and the influx of unvetted refugees from nations infiltrated by terrorists will continue. We know that President Obamas lawless executive amnesty will continue and even expand.
If Clinton is elected, we know that a liberal justice will be named to fill Scalias seat and we will lose the Supreme Court for a generation. With that, we know for a certainty that our right to keep and bear arms, our religious liberty and federalism are in danger. Tonight we received insight into what a Hillary Clinton presidency would look like for Americans. We know that her policies would kill jobs, reduce wages, and continue the downward spiral our country has endured under President Obama.
Tonight, Donald Trump had his strongest debate performance of the election cycle. He drew strong contrasts with Hillary on taxes, regulations, law and order, and the disastrous Iran deal.
Rather than Hillary's America, we need to take a different path. A path that would begin to restore our country from the damage it has suffered the last eight years. We need to unite to defend freedom and restore the Constitution. And Hillary Clinton made absolutely clear tonight she would not do so.
BINGO!
More like someone needs help paying off his primary campaign debts after some of his key financial supporters dropped out/refused to pay up after Ted's convention appearance.
i feel so betrayed by him when I initially supported him from the get go. then i found out he’s a Bush operative.
what tipped me off during research were 2 things.
#1: his wife worked for GSachs
#2: he said he was a “baptist”......which was NOT the truth-
Cruz being a dominionist & that’s a weird , scarey thing.
but then again, it’s mho.
“All the vile hatred for Cruz and Levin need to be put to bed here, constant bashing of the most conservative candidate we had in the race and the most conservative talk show host we have on the air does nothing but alienate those whom you want on your side, even if you dont agree with them 100%.”
You’re right. We absolutely HAVE to stop smearing Ted Cruz and other strong constitutional conservatives. We have to focus our energies into joining together to defeat Hillary.
FWIW, my posting privileges have been suspended many times for defending Cruz against all the unfair attacks. Sad that FR has been so anti-Cruz. Hopefully the ugly anti-Cruz days are behind us, and we can move forward to elect Trump.
Do not condemn people for their involvement with GSachs. Our candidate works with GSachs, and you don’t want to condemn him, do you? Certainly you’re not anti-Trump, right?
No, Cruz is not a cultist. He’s a regular Christian who loves the Lord and wants to see His will done on earth (as the Lord’s prayer models).
Time to stop smearing Cruz. The primaries are over. We need to elect Trump, not smear Cruz.
... Ok, I have never been a Cruz fan — but now he has gained my respect.
just offering mho- i’m a Trump supporter & voter
Stupid comment.
THIS!
In politics sincerity is a bonus, not a requirement. For those saying Ted is only doing this because his popularity slipped when he didn't endorse Trump - isn't that what we want? Politicians to respond to the will of conservative voters? Sure, we don't want them shifting in the wind every time the leftist media drums up a controversy, but when a GOP pol does what GOP voters want isn't that a good thing?
There's a holier than thou contingent (unfortunately often associated with Ted) that sees everything as a absolute struggle to whom Trump is an unforgivable sinner, at least so long as he refuses to bend the knee.
That's not going to happen so there's no satisfying that contingent. But they should take a cue from their candidate and take the half loaf of Trump rather than getting hit by a 90% loaf tax from Clinton.
I'll repeat what I said when Ted suspended his campaign and when he endorsed Trump: Thank you, Ted, for doing the right thing.
Agree and the target is now #neverhillary
“im a Trump supporter & voter”
As you should be.
Wasn't talking about that - was talking about keeping up with what's going on - which means researching and reading all sources of info - not just FR.
Ted's main reason for coming on board were widely stated - Getting personal assurance from Trump that he would stick to the list of SCOTUS names he has announced and not stray from it - and Ted is NOT on the list - ergo, he's concerned ab out one of the most crucial issues - if not THE most crucial - in the election.. and was not angling to get put on the list....
Maybe....the rumor is that Rep. McCaul is considering challenging him in 2018.
His “people” care, donors to the GOP. Can only help.
Yes, he will. I support Trump, and I think Cruz should have endorsed him at the Convention. Nevertheless, He has been a good Senator, and he will be re-elected if he runs. I’d rather see him of the USSC, though. In the meantime, Trump needs all the help he can get. Levin came around, too. Glen Beck’s and Michael Berry’s anguish over this is priceless, BTW.
McCaul is a POS. He was my Congressman until the last redistricting.
