You be sure to let us know when Glock makes a .22 target/hunting pistol.

I have lots of handguns, shotguns, and rifles. The toughest to stip down and put back is the Ruger 10-22. The easiest is the AK-47 and the old Colt Pocket 32 hammerless (said to be John M. Brownings favorite pistol design).

The toughest to st(r)ip down and put back is the Ruger 10-22. Apparently you've not had the pleasure off changing out a trigger group in a Ruger 22/45 pistol. You're in for a real treat.

I have a Mark II. I don’t miss. Most accurate pistol I ever had. It’s a .22LR, but I can walk a coke can with it.

You just get the .22 barrel kit that swaps out in about 3 seconds.

Mark III here, and I agree.
I think the IV is in my near future.

Nice. I've had to rescue a few people who were thoroughly confused when trying to disassemble/reassemble a MKII/MKIII pistol. That should help their sales. I might be tempted to buy that Hunter version. My rimfire competition pistol is the 678 GC slab side version. I always put a Volquartsen trigger and EDC extractors on them. Haven't felt the need to do the hammer/shim upgrades. The big rubber Volthane grip is comfortable, but makes the pistol too fat for my favorite range bag.

Glocks don’t have loose barrels/slides?

Glocks are a pain in the ass to disassemble.
You want easy to disassemble and clean, get a Browning Hi-Power. Or a SIG/Sauer. Any SIG/Sauer. Or a Beretta. Or ...

My wife added a MKIII to our collection. That magazine safety just made the process even more complex than the MKII. The MKIV looks like a winner.

I used a Mark I in high school, bought one a couple years ago to shoot with the boys, and now a few months ago upgraded to a stainless steel Mark III with Hogue grips. The IV looks appealing but I’m happy with what I have at the moment. The whole series is classic and perfect 22LR target competition. Sure this one will continue that success.

I have a Mark II. Great gun. I have the original ("Mark I", but it's not labeled as such). Great to shoot. PITA to reassemble. I'll still take it over those tiny little disassembly things on a Glock.

After stripping to clean it a few times (after needing to google the procedure each time) I quit shooting mine, too much trouble.

I have a 9mm Glock and I shoot well with it.
But the Mark II Ruger is a no miss experience. I’d hate to be on the receiving end. Might not knock someone down but I’d have 5 rounds in his mid-upper chest as fast as I could pull the trigger.

"We are thrilled to be introducing what.." ..every Glock has come with for 30 years. Yeah, as long as you have a custom made crowbar with an ice pick end. "Just one button" hmph.

Better than the glock .... and you don’t have to pull the trigger to disassemble!
To: NorthMountain
No, glocks are not a pain in the ass to take down. It generally takes about 5 minutes to show people how to field strip them. After that, about 3 or 4 repetitions and they’ve got it. Compared to a 1911 colt or some of the older weapons it’s a breeze.
