After enthusiastically endorsing and campaigning for Ted Cruz in the 2016 Republican presidential primary, radio talk show host Glenn Beck admitted he made an error and said he should have supported Marco Rubio instead.
Beck had just finished a contentious interview with Cruz, in which he quizzed the Texas Senator about supporting Donald Trump after making a public show of not endorsing him. For the very first time I heard Ted Cruz calculate, he said after the commercial break.
And when that happened, the whole thing fell apart for me, he continued. And its my fault. Its my fault for believing that men can actually be George Washington.

I saw somewhere that Romney was voting for Johnson. Didn’t Beck say that also?
It was a strange interview with Beck & Cruz. I only stayed on the station because Cruz was speaking (I stopped listening to Beck a long time ago). Cruz was giving a rational explanation why he was always Never-Hillary and with the US Supreme Court and our freedoms at stake, had to support Trump.
For some reason, Beck and his yuck-yuck boys couldnt seem to understand Cruz rationale and were very upset. No wonder their listeners have gone away - their show has gone off the rails and straight into the toilet.
Sounds like a retarded statement to me.
What's this constant undercurrent of Ted bashing, now after he has endorsed.
Your way of asking prior Ted Cruz supporters to GTH or what?
Beck is on a 24/7 dry drunk...
Beck the Clown needs a Waaahbulance!!
There goes the last group of listeners Beck has left. The Cruz crowd
will not take kindly to Beck.
BTW, Trump would have still crushed Rubio regardless of Becks support.
“said he should have supported Marco Rubio instead.”
Beck must’ve missed this: http://www.wsj.com/video/marco-rubio-urges-gop-to-unite-in-support-of-trump/F5B0EBF9-995C-4445-8CF9-B789EA042C81.html
It’s like Beck has some sort of progressive disease or parasite that is eating what’s left of his brain. How can anybody listen to this nutjub?
Re-read what I wrote. Says Ted or Marco or ANYONE else.....
Even Steve Deace cut Cruz some slack:
“I’ll still root for Ted though I disagree. He didn’t completely abandon me when I did something dumb last fall. I’ll return the grace.
1:56 PM - 23 Sep 2016”
Steve Deace = friend
Glenn Beck - needs a spiritual intervention
Glenn Beck is an idiot. Nobody should listen to a word he says. He is just trying to stay relevant. But he is just a weirdo with a microphone.
Hahaha hahaha Hahaha,
“My finger hurts”
Hahaha hahaha,
OUCH,
Hahaha.
Beck mentally departed earth some time back.
But he said that GOD sent Cruz.
It has gotten to a point, where the obvious delusions, percolating in Glen Beck’s consciousness, have reached a level, where they completely overwhelm any shred of actual reasoning capacity remaining. Attacking him at this point, seems more than a waste of time. It is analogous to going to a mental hospital & inquiring whether you can interview Napoleon. (He is not there.)
Presuming taking what you said literally as “Ted or Marco or Donald or ANYONE else...”, my sincerest apologies.
Can agree 100% with that.

Lol, the only site on which we Cruz supporters catch more derision than here is BB! Over there, it seems to be a higher priority to demean and insult us than it is to try to win us over. Oh, well.... voting for Trump anyway, as Clinton would be our ruination as a country, and I think Trump has been very good for a couple months now, and I love his tax plan and energy and immigration policies.
I always respected Mormons, don’t like their religion, but they were always kind and decent folks. This is giving them a bad name. Where is the forgiveness, love and understanding? Cruz lost a very public race for the nomination. He has let it go and moved on, yet a commentator can’t? Beck is not someone I will listen to or follow with comments like that.
