Idiots.
I don’t shop there...Target is not anyplace I am interested in going.
I’ve Targeted Target as a No-Shopping Zone.
We don’t shop Target either, but in stores where they do have those small carts, we never had a problem with our daughter using one. Sounds more like parents who cannot manage their kids are blaming the tool, not the tool user (hm, where have I encountered that before).
Modern parents have no ability to say ‘no’ to their snowflakes—and if they can’t make something work for their kids, they don’t want other families to have the option of using them either.
They’re still in business? Fascinating.
They’re still in business? That’s a shame.
We no longer shop at Target because of their insane bath/changing room policy, but I don’t get the parents who complain about the tiny carts. Cub foods and our small local grocery store have them and my young children love them. They occasionally bump me, but it’s not debilitating and I need to teach them about looking out for others anyway, so it’s an opportunity for that.
Let men in the women’s bathroom then have toys to entice small children... Sounds to me like the Target CEO may be a pedophile himself.
Who is still shopping at Target?
Anyone with one brain cell should realize kids would be running amuck with tiny carts. But Target has already proven with the restroom fiasco they don’t have the required brain cell.
I never understood that Target thing. Been in there once or twice years ago. They are a complete ripoff or maybe I’m a really good shopper.
Tiny carts would probably annoy me as much as toddlers with their own carry-on luggage on a crowded flight.
Weird that anyone would care enough to do anything but tell their child, “No. Just hold my hand and walk along.”
Heck...I hated it 35+years ago when my young son pushed a big cart into back of my ankle at times...he learned NOT to...I think little carts are training aids, but as some here said...some parents won’t appropriately train their kids
I thought Target had gone out of business...
Tiny people everywhere are upset!
Why would any conservative shop at Target? Typical of libs to argue pros and cons of a shopping cart. That’s a real issue that us conservatives are blind to.
What could go wrong? Aren’t children just small adults? Shouldn’t they be expected to handle their carts as responsibly as mommy?
The university-indoctrinated MBAs managing American businesses today are poisoning them.
I should think it would be the people tripping over them complaining, not the purrents.
Raising my hand here, I guess you (on the thread whose kids would never) should rip up my FR membership. It seems you all have angel behaved children who are properly whipped into shape, but I recently allowed my two rug rats to use those little carts and that was a hellish experience in the grocery store.
OF COURSE kids want to run in empty aisles with them, don’t understand how close they are behind you and nip your Achilles’ tendon, they would like to see what happens when they crash them together, etc. it was a nightmare, though nothing happened to any other shoppers. My having to scold and remind constantly was bad enough! Never again though.
So shoot me, I have real kids, and I don’t keep them in line by beating them. And those little carts suck!
Our country has imploded and people are worried about “tiny carts”?
