ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIRST DEBATE BETWEEN
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Donald John Trump
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD, NY
9 PM MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2016
The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
coconut in tomato sauce sounds wonderful! I’m trying to wrap my brain around the two different taste. Tomato and coconut. WOW! Sound delicious. My mom always put in a tsp. of sugar when she used tomato paste.
Being together with friends IS the very best part of debate
You can always ping the list just before the debate starts so others can find us
Flower thing did its job. Reminded people how sick are Clintons.
Friends use a squirt of vanilla
Her name trended on Google because of people looking up who she was!
Even the young man getting signs at midnight questioned her relationship with HIll/Billy
His comment. Why even consider WJC when we can have Malania in charge of White House ?
Thank you for posting this thread!
Eh, are you deplorable?, irredeemable? or both? ;)
Hi “Tweety”. Yes, and the good thing is Donald is a PRO at throwing out important news as if its an after thought or dig but you know he’s always controlling the Chess Board.
Roger Stone brilliantly tweeted something about Juanita Broderick, Kathleen Wiley and Paula Jones all willing to be in the audience as well.
Now, I doubt these ladies will be attending the debate, but their names have been tossed out there and now everyone can look them up as well! Well played, Mr. Stone.
Great cooks here I see. Thanks.
I'll take the bait. I don't have a TV. My last TV watching was Sara Palin's acceptance speech at the 2008 Republican Convention.
But Monday night's the exception. I'm going to a local Italian restaurant that's a known hangout for Trumpers. I've called and got my reservation. Looking forward to Trump making fools of the naysayers. Probably be drinking my fav, water.
Of course this assumes Killary will show up. Hope they check for earpieces.
I love to do this, because you have so many options. If I’m going to use them for onion soup, then I caramelize them with only salt and pepper for 4 hours. (yep four hours.) Use at least 6 large Spanish onions. You can even add a white, a purple and a sweet too. For the soup you will use a beef or chicken stock or better yet your homemade chicken broth from boiiing a chicken.
If I’m going to use them as a base for a chili* or a pasta sauce, I’ll caramelize for at least an hour adding the spices early on, oregano, chili powder, cumin, curry and turmeric. I love using curry. Then maybe a can or cup of fresh mushrooms, and anything else you want to put in like chopped bell peppers, green and a red, some zucchini and squash and of course the garlic.
Then you add the tomato sauce. I will buy it when on sale, or make it from scratch. I found Barilla’s roasted garlic sauce on sale a Publix, so I’m using a 24 oz bottle. You can find some really nice sauces at TJ Max. And so what if it’s expired before you use it.) You must add at the end a small can of tomato paste, and also a good cup of a good red wine that you’re drinking that day.
*I know for all the chili purists, you should not add fillers, like peppers, and mushrooms and such to real texas chili. I like to do a vegetarian chili. If you’ve never tried it, it’s out of this world. Here is the basic recipe. The smell is incredible. If you caramelize the ingredients it’s even better. This is also my basic sauce recipe. But over the years I’ve taken it to another level with the curry and anchovy or fennel or whatever. I won’t add corn or beans to this today. You can always serve this with a meat. Chicken or something ground like lamb, beef and pork mixed, or I’ve added scallops or shrimp. I love love love this. LIke I said, just make it like they say here the first time, (caralmelizing the onions at least an hour or more, and you won’t believe the smell.

Not sure you saw my reply, so I am putting it here—may help others to take the Twitter plunge—it really is quite simple to tweet!
I think it could help Trump in the “Social Media Battle” that MSM will hat tip if Hillary is ahead! Also good for getting out word on other issues like the Protection of Internet Freedom Act!

From Live Rally thread yesterday:
My (Revised) Twitter Tutorial ;)
I believe there is a tutorial when you sign up for Twitter, and I am sure there are some on You Tube also.
Twitter is sort of a cross between email and Facebook... you pick a user name and password as well as what you want to be called on Twitter~much like email.
Then you have a home page like Facebookyou can put in a profile, etc...Home page lists what you are doing as well as tweets from people that you are following... People/friends that you look up who you wish to follow like Sean Hannity, Donald Trump, etc...and you can send them a Tweetmessage or you can retweet someone else’s tweet...You can go to someone’s home page—for example, Hannity’s page and tweet, or you can tweet to Hannity from you page. Very flexible
Re-tweeting and use of #hashtags is how information can “go viral” and spread all over, which is one of the advantages of Twitterspreads info fast...Unlike email, you only get 140 characters to use for your message, so people use abbreviations like B4, TTYL, etc. This makes it fast and efficient—both to send and read. People do attach video, pictures, and articles to their tweets.
People use hashtags to categorize their tweets and lineup behind issues/topics...I am sure Trump will have some for the debate...Something like #TrumpRulesDebate or whatever others are using. Like Facebook, you can see what is trending...
When I signed up in 2009, I just wanted information about Iran, but now I am Tweeting to various media people about the Internet Shutdown Issuewe are going to lose our sovereignty over parts of the Internet NEXT WEEK if our elected representatives dont get their butts in gear...Anyway, I could not find emails for most of the media types that should (but are not) talking about this critical issueThe Protection of the Internet Freedom Act. However JUST ABOUT EVERY POLITICIAN AND TV/RADIO TALKSHOW HOST HAS TWITTERand they are using them every dayso it is nice way to contact them.
Anyway, I highly recommend Freepers get a Twitter page this weekend, and then we can compete with Hillarys paid Twitter army!
Oh, and experienced tweeters, please feel free to add or clarify/correct my tutorial ;)
Happy Tweeting :)
It’s made time go by fast for me. Seem like the last ten months have flown by. The last year actually.
I’ve learned from this man. When I negotiate or deal with someone, I make my offer then I walk. If you’re not prepared to walk then you shouldn’t negotiate. Sometimes you hit a concrete wall, but then you know the other guys lowest price.
LOVE IT!!
If it falls off the side bar, I’ll re post it, although I would hate to do that. I have a feeling we’re going to have over 5,000 replies by Tuesday morning.
